Customer Reviews for Pool Patch 3 lb. White Pool Tile Grout Repair Kit

Got this product at HomeDepot.com at a competitive price. I previously regrouted my pool tile with standard grout and had marginal success as standard grout seemed to become pasty and the joints failed. This product looks to be clearly superior since it includes a bonding agent that is mixed in with the water and the joints dried very hard. I worked on a hot summer Florida day and found that mixing a half pound at a time was about the most I could use before it hardened and became unusable. Therefore I recommend carefully measuring/weighing the product and bonding agent and working in small (half pound or less) batches. It ended up with a nice white finish that I hope will last a while this time.

very easy to mix and install using a wet sponge and rubber trowel. Well worth the time and money.

Worked great, arrived on time at a good price. Application was fairly easy and not much different than bathroom tile. Biggest difference is having to drop water level well below tile. I did about half of what they recommended and it worked out. Only complaint was that the hardener was buried in the bottle and had to hunt for it.

Have not used yet in pool but used to repair grout in my shower. Worked wonderfully

Easy enough and seems to work well. It’s only been a couple of weeks. Only time will tell if it holds up. Not cheap for the quantity.

Great stuff, the tile around the pool looks like brand new and it's a great price. The other guys want twice as much for the same thing.

My husband thought the liquid cement that was needed was missing, I found it in the loose powder at the bottom of plastic jar kit. Instructions should say it is included in the package. I noticed another person complained they couldn't find it, either. Kit should come with both products separately & bottle just attached together.

I wouldn’t know, I have no way of getting this liquid cement bonder needed with this product and know one at your stores knows either. Any suggestions????

Excellent product and easy to use. I repaired grout along my pool by myself.

Very easy to work with. It’s not a very bright white but matched our grout perfectly. When adding water to the mixture, be sure to add just a little at a time, mix and then add more as needed.

Easy to use and durable. Learned to mix small batches because it sets up quick.

No where in the description did it say another item is required to use it. Have no idea what or how to purchase the chemical. So never opened the jar.
