Withstood a heavy load and was stable
As noted in other reviews, missing four washers for assembly. One bolt broke in half during assembly. Assembly took about 30 minutes with one person, very easy overall. In use, moved 9 tons of 3 inch gravel, downhill on a dirt path. Wheelbarrow was very stable, easy to control and fill and dump. Seems no worse for wear after this use. Was very balanced and easy to push. Overall very good except for the missing parts and broken bolt. Would recommend and would purchase again.

Easy on the back!
This cart was easy to assemble with two people. Unlike some reviews, we had ALL the washers, etc included! The cart is easy to push or pull; has a good size capacity; doesn't tip over like a traditional wheelbarrow. It is very easy to maneuver on level or uneven ground. The handle bar is a back saver!

Looks good
It looks like this product is well made and will be durable. Other reviews say that hardware was missing. My unit was missing one bolt, one nut and four washers. Very frustrating when assembling it.

Nice cart!
Very nice cart. Assembly was pretty intuitive even with the pictures. As others had commented, There was also a glitch in paying using Pay-Pal so i got the unit later than promised but HD made up for it with a $10.00 gift card. I was missing some washers and had to get those from my stock; not a big deal but you would think after the other comments that HD would have told Polar to address the issue before shipping them any more units.

Definitely Worth A Closer Look
So far so good. Have only used this once in the yard because of weather. Durability obviously cannot be assessed but I have few concerns about that. Box arrived dented. Other reviewers have mentioned that it can be difficult for one person to assemble this, and I agree. Two would be better for at least some of the steps. The directions leave something to be desired--the steps are specified well but the images must be deciphered. Mine came with four washers missing--plan for that, although I believe the parts listing is incorrect on the number needed (not as many as are "supposed" to be in the package). It definitely has better stability than your regular wheelbarrow. That was the primary deciding factor for me--why wrestle with an unstable wheelbarrow, when for a little more, you can get one which has great stability and equal, or superior, capacity? The wheels may be a problem at some point, as one of them was difficult to pump up. They seem sturdy enough if air loss does not become an issue. Because of its size I have to leave this outside in my back yard. Eventually that will cause rust on some of the screws, washers, etc. but will not affect the main cart piece. I have no doubts that one can easily handle 200 pounds of dirt, stones, etc. with this cart. Don't anticipate filling the entire cart with stones or rocks, however. Overall, this looks like a well made and functional item which should prove useful for many years.

Great product and excellent value.
The Polar Cub Cart is perfect for my use around the barn, mucking stalls and carrying hay. It was easy to assemble, and is well made, and was the least expensive cart I could find for my purpose. I would highly recomend this product.

Useful Cart
I bought the cart a couple of weeks ago to use to haul in firewood. As other reviewers have posted, assembly is not easy but with another person and a socket wrench it will be better. And as others state, not all the washers are provided but I just left out the ones that weren't provided (it really wasn't a big deal). The handle height works for even tall people, such as myself. The 28" width of the cart allows me to easily get it into our walkout basement, which is where our wood stove is. Currently I am using the cart to move wood from the outside woodpile to store in the basement for the next day's fire. The cart stores the wood nicely without making a mess or having to use a wood rack. In the summer I plan to pretty much use this cart over my wheelbarrow for any landscaping or wood hauling needs. It's a great buy. Although it was more expensive than the typical carts, I think it easily out performs them.

Great Cart for the Price!
I purchased this cart to muck 3 horse stalls with. At first it didn't look as though it would hold that much waste but it handled the job easily. As others have commented there are four 5/16 flat head washers missing; not a really big deal. Assembly was easy; I put it together myself.

Nice product
I researched the load capacities, sizes and the types of wheels. This unit met all my expectations. Not hard to assemble but a little awkward unit all the screws are installed. I'm happy with the product which was not available in the store.

Great yardwork aid. Worth the price.
This is a very solid and tough little cart. I've hauled dirt, stones, firewood, and mulch. It doesn't mind how heavy the load. The wide handle and two wheels let me easily pull or push the load. This is much easier to use than my old large wheelbarrow. My only challenge is going up or down hills. I'd love a model with power assist going up and brakes for going down (I'm dreaming, right?).

Strong, stable, easy to use !!
We ordered this one to replace a much less substantial two-wheeled wheelbarrow... and we are very happy with this purchase! It took a little while to get it together, but the result is amazing. The bin is very sturdy, the handling is very smooth, and we have a MUCH easier time carting mulch and heavy plants around the yard!! I definitely recommend this cart / wheelbarrow to anyone who needs a durable, but still easy-to-maneuver, cart for their yard!

Perfect size and weight for backyard garden use.
I am very pleased with this product. It is exactly what was represented. I love the double wheels for stability and the handle that is one piece. Our older wheelbarrow was too heavy for my use and tipped easily- this one is so much easier for me to use. I am fortunate my husband was available to assemble this item- we put some pieces on wrong initially as the pictures and directions are a bit challenging. Also, have some washers and screws on hand as some of these are missing from the package. Bucket is heavy duty without being heavy in weight. BUY IT!

Strong, durable, lightweight
Stronger, more durable, and lightweight--better than you could imagine! Great price and easy to manuver around the yard. Wish I would have found this cart years ago--it would have made yardwork a lot easier.

Better than the metal ones
I've had the metal carts in the past but seem to be replacing them every 5 years. This one seems very well made. Plastic is very durable. Double wheel assembly makes for easy moving of all loads without worrying if it will tilt over like the conventinal carts. The only con is that it did not come with all the washers the directions said you needed for assembly. Luckily I had extras lying around. Overall only time (5 years) will tell if this will last.

Perfect for my hilly property!
I have a very steep yard. This cart works perfectly in this place. I can pull it up my hills with 1 hand and not worry about it tipping over. It's light yet sturdy enough to move dirt, gravel and some fairly good size rocks! I particularly like that you can tip it forward and actually roll a large rock into it. As I said, Perfect.

Good item; assembly not "easy"
The cart is great, good for a variety of chores; is great for use on nonpaved areas. Assembly is a problem; not really an easy one person job. If I hadn't had a socket wrench set, assembly would have taken more than the 1 1/2 + hours it did. My recommendation would be conditional - only to someone who is handy and is likely to have necessary tools.

tough, nice balance
Moved a load (12 tons) of unwashed topsoil with this cart, lots of rock. The cart didn't flinch. All the tubular parts, axle, handle, stand, are really heavy duty, as is the tub. Balance is very good, making it easy to move the cart once loaded. Two wheels helps too. Tub shape makes it easy to dump where you want it, either front or side. Assembly took a little while, but well worth it, especially for the price.

Pneumatic Tires
Was looking for a cart with solid tires, and from the description given on the Home Depot site ("Solid rubber spoked wheels"), thought that was what I was getting. However, the tires are pneumatic with plastic rims. Have had problems in the past with these types of tires, but so far, they have worked okay, so will hope for the best. Also, product arrived short 4 washers needed for assembly. Fortunately we were able to scrounge up some old ones to make do. Overall the cart is solid, and I like the fact that it is deep, so carries a good load while still being pretty maneuverable, even in thicker grass. I would give it a try if you are looking for a stable two-wheeled cart. Just watch you don't get the tires over-inflated when the weather turns hot!

Simply a top quality yard cart. The best one could buy at any price. Congradulations to the design staff and the assembly folks at Polar Trailer, you've shown yourselves to be among the best of the best.

      Garden Cart
This garden cart is a great value for the money. It is very roomy and the front is beveled for dumping, which is nice. It is also easy to pull, which I like because I live an a big hill. It took a little time to put together, but I don't think it was worse than any other wheelbarrow. I would recommed this item.
