It's a nice fireplace door. We had it installed professionally but from watching the workmen do it, it seemed any reasonable DIYer could do it. As others have noted, it's darker than the picture, but still a very nice color. The glass is also dark. We have it on a light tile background - the contrast is stunning.

The fireplace doors were easy to assemble and the color fit with my decor perfectly. Great purchase!

The size was off even though I used their size chart. Without the 2-inch rise bar, the doors were too low and would hit the edge of the chimney. With the rise bar, the attachments that go into the chimney wall would not reach.

The color was very deceiving. The photo and the real thing was very different

Installation was easy w/instructions...used included expansion bar to fit opening, no problem at all...looks fantastic!!!

Well made and easy to install. Could have provided more and a better way to place/ attach the fiberglass insulation.

The grill is fine but the holes to attach one of the handles was incorrectly drilled so I had to drill a new hole so the handle could be attached straight.

Still can't get it installed. Even after 3 trips to home depo.

Very easy to install even for a 70 year old woman.

product should have more insulation to seal frame to brick or stone fireplace

The fireplace doors are fine, look great, and work well. Unfortunately, one of the handles was chipped when it arrived, and I am finding it nearly impossible to get a replacement from Pleasant Hearth. The people at the 800 number (in the owner's manual) are either foreign, not helpful at all, or, as in the case of the 2 supervisors that I've left voicemails for, don't bother to return your call. The replacement that they sent me is the wrong one, and no one seems to know why or how to get me the right one, which is why I requested a supervisor to help me, but apparently, to no avail. This has NOT been a a good experience and sadly, makes Home Depot look bad, too! I am giving this an average rating not based on the product, but based on the facts that A. it arrived with damaged parts, B. the company's customer service is horrible, C. the replacement part that they sent was the wrong one, D. I may not even be able to get the correct replacement part, and E. if I can't get the right replacement part, I will expect some sort of a refund, which Home Depot had better offer!

Attractive. But measurements were inaccurate. Listing should include inside opening of fireplace measurements and measurements of outside of finished product after installed. It was too big but less than an inch. Had to return to store.

Looks great. Very easy to assemble. The finish is a little darker than advertised but very nice. I will have to modify the clamps for the top of the screen in order to work properly, but I am certain I can make that adjustment on my own.

Heavy duty construction and well built. Returned because the color (antique brass) was too dark, almost brown. Picture on internet was misleading. We were looking for a brassier look. Too bad , we returned it.

had 3 fireplace doors ordered and shipped. all 3 were damaged upon delivery returned all 3 will never order these or shop online again bring the products back to the stores please no one cares anymore its all about quantity today not quality
