We have a 75lb golden doodle Who wouldn’t stay in our yard. Loved to visit neighbours. We bought this unit amd it didn’t take long to train him. Works perfect. Keeps him in the yard and he neber pushes the boundaries. Stays well within the perimeter. Would like it to have a slightly bigger perimeter, likely should have went with the wires system, but this was so easy to setup.

I purchased my first wireless pet containment system approximately 4 yrs ago. It worked great for about 3yrs. Then the box would work intermittently and then just stopped working. We noticed the outlet was charred where it was plugged into. A friend of mine gave me hers about a year ago since she no longer needed it and now this system is only working intermittently. It has even shocked my dog inside the house. I am very frustrated that this has happened twice now. These systems are not cheap. Now I need to buy a third one but I am hesitant to purchase another one like this. I have loved it up until now. When the first one went out I thought maybe there had been a power surge or something since the outlet was charred. Now with the second one going out, I’m wondering if it was actually the containment system that shorted out and charred the outlet. Very disappointed that this has happened twice now.

Too difficult to install - will probably return it

This is our first electric dog fence. The unit came in one piece - ready to use. It takes a little time to set up the boundaries - you'll need to decide the distance you want your dog to travel and use the boundary dial on the unit to increase or decrease the travel areas - then walk your property and place the boundary flags. It took us a few tries to get it right for our dogs. Remember that the signal is a radio wave and therefore you might have "blind spots" due to trees and other obstacles in the yard. We are on day 10 of training with our 3 dogs - I would say be patient with your pets - take the time to do the training the right way. I found the training video on the website VERY helpful as we had no idea how to even start the training. Also, be aware of the intensity of the static correction - our 1 dog needs a higher setting than the other 2. If you have multiple dogs - it was helpful for us to label their individual collar so we can be sure that each dog as the right collar on with their individual settings as the collars we received were all the same color - maybe the manufacturer should consider personalized collars for multiple dogs or at least different color options. Overall - happy with the product so far.

I have had my Wireless Pet Containment system for almost 14 years now. I have 3 dogs that use it, and I rarely have any issues. The one time I had my pit bull run through it, was because there was a rabbit running across the street. He broke through, and was back rather quickly. So it does work, and work fabulously! I have also taken this system camping with us, when we have electric sites. I change the area around it and they are fine! We did also pair one of the stubborn collars with this system for our husky. But this system is so easy to set up, and I have not had to touch it since then (except when we camp). You won't go wrong buying it.

Unit works great but eats batteries. Need to redesign

This is a great system! We have used it for 6 years and bought a new one for a different house. Works great and not nearly as costly as an underground system.

Ive used petsafe wireless system for over 2 years now, and love it. We have one dog who loves to wonder, and a 2 year old, now 4, who knew no boundaries when we got him. A complete lifesaver for both. And when the batteries get low, they are still nervous to go beyond the boundary, love it and have recommended this product to many. Thank you!

This is perfect for our strong willed Lab. He was trained quickly. I wish there were a way to change the shape from circle to oval. I would like to let our dog have full use of our yard, but that would allow him in the neighbors because of the circular shape.

I bought the wireless collar back in March. My collar stopped working. I called support and they are sending me out a new collar. Just good old fashion simple great customer service.

Collar went put without any notice l. Previously red light would blink when battery was low. Shocked the living heck out of our 3 year old dog after no warning of a faulty device or low battery. Mom and kids were in tears from our dog screaming, shaking and whimpering. Eighbors witnessed as well.. This is our second collar. They don't last.

We have had this system for over 3 years and has only failed us when we failed to replace batteries or charge collars (we added an additional collar that was not battery operated). We use this system at our lake, and on multiple occasions one of my dogs has decided she wants to chase the beaver by our land and jumps in the lake and the collar is still working. Excellent product, gives us peace of mine and we trust it 100%

I like how this works but my dog is 14 pounds and the collar seems heavy for him. It’s so bulky around his neck. I wish it came in different sizes.

The range of this system constantly moves. I've had times when my pet is well within the "flagged zone" and gets a shock. The yelping of my Goldendoodle breaks my heart. I think we need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Fence did not work properly - wiped out all the HF frequencies due to interference caused by the power supply. Company unresponsive to requests for help. I've called twice and emailed four times. Going to return.

I bought this system 2 months ago when I got my new puppy. I live in the country off the highway. My puppy learned real fast where the boundaries are, as soon as the beep starts she turns and goes the other way. She’s been shocked a few times from pushing it but it made her learn. Very happy with this product and money well spent. I’ve already recommended it to family and friends. Thanks Petsafe for keeping my puppy safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this not to long ago and just trying it out the collar will not beep when we go out of the boundary we’re aren’t sure of what’s wrong but measure out the feet perfectly somethimes it beeps very close to the transmitter and sometimes it beeps 150 feet out of the boundary. If it is the boundary we are unsure of how to get a new one. Not really worth my time.

Keeps my GSD in check, i have to replace the battery every 3 months. Had it for 2 years. Works great. At first had some issues but then i took it back a little and didn't let my dog go so close to the street and then she quit getting put. she hears the beep and she runs back to the house. Some times it lets her go a little further than its suppose to but then it kicks in.

I bought this 2 months ago and it has worked wonders! The dogs always stay in the yard! Also one of the collars clear piece had broken. I called them and they sent me a new one for free! The product has been great and the customer service has been even better. Very much recommend!

Working great. Only thing is that the boundary is not always the same in a tight area. Hard to get it set at the right setting. Nice to not have to use any wire and can change area any time. Time will tell how long it will last. Hopefully as long as we need it.

Worked for a while. there is a dead spot for some reason. dog has found it. doesn't seem to be transmitting very well in the one area. not sure why all of a sudden it does this. disappointed for what it costs. tried a new collar and reset system still doesnt work

Worth the extra cost over a ground wire system because it is simple "plug & go". My GS kept getting out, then realized she would sit right on the edge with the audible warning activate until the battery died - then run free. Lesson learned. Only complaint - yards are typically not square - cannot locate hub in out building, garage, or shed. A weatherproof option would be ideal for deeper / rectangular properties.

We have had this system for 6 years and it is amazing. We even brought it with us to our new home when we moved and it works wonderfully. Completely portable. Never had any problems at all. Just make sure you replace the batteries in the collars once they start to show a blinking light. Wonderful product, reasonable, very easy to set up and keeps our dogs in. Nice system that has a variable level of electric shook if dogs don't listen to the beeping tone at the boundary. Only takes a couple times for them to get mildly zapped for them to respect the boundary.

My only complaint is that the transmitter on the collar needs to be built stronger. I have a beagle that can destroy one of these a year. The battery just won’t stay in.

I bought this for my granddog Charlie for when he visits us. . He has been trained with three other invisible fences and when he saw the flags going up, he knew what was happening. He was trained the minute the flags went up. It took my son in law one hour to set it up and figure out where to put the flags. So easy!

Initially the system worked great. I purchased it 18 months ago and it has recently stopped working. I have replaced the collar battery and attempted to reset the system following manufactures instructions with no luck.

We got the first of our wireless systems about 5 years ago. We trained both dogs to it and so we then alternate the dogs free time. One penned while the other roamed the wireless boundary lines and chased the neighborhood dogs and cats to the boundary. The next year we purchased another and formed a bigger yard space. We never had a problem with them breaking the barriers. We moved the following year to a place that was fenceless. No problems at all! We now have 3 dogs on this Pet Safe Wireless system and are absolutely love it. Batteries are cheap lasting 3—>5 months depending on the weather. I pay attention to the dogs and I’ll change them if the “one” dog becomes persistent in testing the boundaries. I buy all my products from the company. They are extremely polite and helpful with my needs. I can even order the plastic replacement friction buckles, which is the only complaint that I have. Advice! Take the time to train your dog well, pay attention to them for clues to replace the battery and by all means, go get you one of these systems.
