This is a great design. It's lightweight but sturdy. At first i was a little confused about how to attach the roof with the zippers but that was my fault for deciding to jump on putting it together without reviewing any instructions. Even without reading them i still got it together in less than 15 minutes and it can easily be taken apart to store. The quality is great especially considering the price. Very happy with my purchase. Just set it out so im unsure if they'll use it but considering the two outside semi ferals have been making due with plastic storage containers with entry holes cut in i think they'll be super happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical before buying it, because my cats are pretty picky about things. However, they loved this! I wanted to get them something to keep them warm in the winter, since they love to run out and play in the garage and this did the trick. Now I don’t have to constantly check on them to make sure they aren’t cold or want inside.

So far the cat immediately took to this shelter! I love that it has two doors in case something gets inside, they have an additional exit.

First, the material seems very durable and so far it has remained waterproof. I like how easy it was to build and also how easy it is to take apart. This allows me to move the pet house around as often as I need to. I like that there is a little plastic door in the entrance because it allows my cats to stay warm when inside. This cat house was a total success for me and my cats. They have no problem going in there and love to hang out in there as well. I built a cat patio for them and this has been a great addition because it allows my cats to enjoy their patio even if the weather is not the greatest. I definitely recommend.

It's great quality and I love that it's easy to clean. It looks like it'll easily withstand the elements. I plan on eventually relocating it outside for the stray kitties in the area this winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are 3 feral cats that live in my neighborhood and my neighbor and I contribute to feeding them and making sure they are okay. We are currently trying to get them fixed - as one of the cats had her second litter over the summer. I live in Pittsburgh and winters are brutal and I have been dreading the thought of the cats outside in the cold snow. I am not able to rescue them for myself - as I have a 1 year old kitten that doesn’t like other animals. I purchased this item and set it on the porch of my neighbor’s house (where the cats are fed and lounge) and have seen that the cats go in it at night/During the day. This makes me feel SO much better that there is some heated relief for the cats - as it breaks my heart seeing them outside. None of our local rescues are able to take in anymore cats - but knowing there is a heated hut for the cats to use makes me feel so much better

We had a lucky fellow find our home a few months ago and we are delighted to give him his own special place outdoors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This house is great for my outdoor cat. I stuff it with straw to help keep her warm in the winter. Although I could build one myself, you pay for the convenience so the price was well worth it. Highly recommend.

I laid out the pieces and followed the directions. The kitty house went together easily and the heating pad works as described when the cat is inside sleeping.

I bought the small heated kitty house and everything looks great, easy to assemble - however I cannot get the heat pad to work so I am very disappointed. If someone would please respond I would greatly appreciate it because other than that I really do like it.

Unbelievably exceptional quality. Super Durant and insulated. Heating pad is Sherpa quality and thick. It doesn’t get super warm which is good because my cat doesn’t like that. Having two doors is great because they can escape predators. A lot of people make the mistake of putting their food bowl near their shelter and that is a big no-no. That’s what attracts raccoons. It’s waterproof and it is very much appreciated by my semi feral kitty. Thank you so much for making such a premium product at an affordable price. Even if there is no electric outlet, this will keep your kitty warm, comfy and dry. I can’t say enough about this .

It took over a week for her to even try it. The unheated one I purchased last year was at one end of the area, the pad that reflects her heat in between. She would lie curled up on the pad near the doors, but would enter neither of the houses. Then one day she tried the heated one, and now she stays in it most of the time except on sunny warm days. She is 14 years old. I recommend both the heated and unheated ones.

This is an excellent product. Designed well to withstand outdoor weather. My outside cats have a warm, dry place to stay in the winter, they just love it. I recommend this product!

I bought this for our outdoor/indoor stray we recently adopted. Setup super easy and quality material. I took the front flap out and the back rest against the house, trying to minimize draft. The house sits elevated on bricks and I added a front entrance awning by cutting a settle roof from the box it came with! I taped it to the roof with gorilla tape. It it should rain and she wants to be outside I will wrap the whole thing in a big thick garbage bag! She really loves her house, went right in and cant her enough of the heating pad. Her body and face were nice and toasty when I petted her.

I purchased this for our outside cat. However, our small outdoor dog has taken it over. Only problem is he is too long for house so he hangs his tail/head out the doors. Have you thought of making a larger/longer size?

I bought one last year and it worked great. So I decided to buy a second one one for this winter. The new one came and the heat pad DIDN'T WORK. So I sent it back. Received the second one and the heat pad DIDN'T WORK! Now what do I do?

I have two of the heated kitty houses and the cats love them. Warm and secure are they. I Recommend highly.

Easy assembly, sturdy, cat loves it, but the door flaps are ineffective. They get caught and don't close all the way. They need to cut slits in them and have a flap mounted on the outside as well. Needs more insulation, too.

Great product this is the second purchase I liked the first one so much.

I sent one of the green cat houses out of state as a gift and the recipient is having trouble figuring out how to attach the zippered roof. Can you post better instructions or a video that shows how?

I have 2 outside kitties and 2 of these houses. I put the houses under my picnic table on the deck and then tarp the table (with a small kitty opening) to protect them from the snow and wind. This is perfect for cold Chicago winters. I also put the extension cord under the tarp to protect the connection. they houses are well made. I have to remove the flaps or the cats won't use the house.

I have a heated kitty hut on my porch for cold weather. The kitties love it so much that I bought another one that's unheated for the summer months. Both versions are of good quality. I have nothing but praise for all K & H products. The quality of the products and the customer service are outstanding. My kitties send their best.

I received my first 2 outdoor heated houses 5 winters ago for my 2 feral cats. This winter it appeared one of them had lost its waterproofing and after a snow or rain the inside was sopping wet. I just received 2 new ones and like the first 2, my cats love these houses. Thank you K&H.
