We live in New York City are and care for a few feral/semi-feral cats. When well-placed this seems to work quite well in most weather conditions. Heating pad is a must for dead of winter.

Bought this for my outdoor kitty. Think she'll be very happy to have this in the winter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I keep the cats out on the enclosed porch, I wanted them to have a warm spot to duck into for winter nights (beyond the cat beds, and their own couch!) I honestly have no idea where my kitties sleep at night, so I don't know if they actually use this or not, but I have seen them duck in and out of here every once in a while in the daytime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a really great size and made of sturdy material. My cat loves when I turn on the heated pad—she will hide in there for hours! She doesn’t use it as consistently as I wish, but cats are finicky like that! Would definitely recommend if your cat is the type to hole up/use cat beds.

Our semi feral kitty loves this heated outdoor house. It's very durable and waterproof and works extremely well in the winter months. So glad we purchased it!

Best outdoor houses for neuter / spay outdoor cats

Bruce has been living under our deck for 3 years.but now he spends time in the heated cat house. He is the most feral cat I have ever came across but he seems to like our yard and the cat house hopefully gives him comfort and a sense of security (had to take one door off) We used to get mice...now Bruce keeps them at bay.

Easy to assemble and my kitties love it! Great price also!

Looking forward to using these as the weather cools. We purchased unheated versions as we are in North Florida. These came highly recommended by friends who have the heated version they have used for several years. Very impressed with the high quality of the product when we opened the packages.

They often times will seek shelter if it starts to sprinkle, or if it gets too hot for shade, or if they are cold and it’s snowing since we live in Minnesota and winters can be absolutely frigid! It’s the most popular spot to find one of our four cats lounging in their little heated home. We simply unplug the heat pad in the summer! We have 3 of these now. Best purchase ever for outdoor cats.

I got my first one 7 years ago and it is still usable. I had to tape the top due to some of my cats sit and scratch on top, but it is still great and currently on my front porch for a feral neutered female. These are great outside, I have one in my shed, one for my finicky tabby, she uses it every day. I got a back up just in case. These are great, the cats love them and the hold up very well and are a good price.

I’d only suggest to make the doors on the product out of a different material because I had to take the doors off or else the cats ignored it. Great product overall though!

It’s easy to set up, and seems really sturdy and well made; I think it will last for a quite awhile. The doors Velcro on and off really easily, and the heated pad (though we haven’t used the heating feature yet because the weather warmed up right after we got it) is nice an thick, and I was able to tuck the cord underneath the pad and it still lays flat.

We keep it inside for now but can move it out onto our porch if he wants to spend some time outdoors. It’s very cute!

It was easy to assemble, I think it’s pretty solid and sturdy-but wasn’t overwhelmingly heavy, so I was able to move it around the house easily for an upcoming snow storm. The cats really seem to like it and it keeps them much warmer! If you are looking for an option-I would encourage this one!

my skiddish porch kitty took to it straight away, my only thought is i wish it was just a couple inches taller and wider, she's sucked into in many hours so I'd like her to be able to stand and stretch etc to groom but she seems VERY happy. I would absolutely buy again

It took my feral cat about a month to decide to go in the house. Now that she uses it, she’s in her house all the time staying out of the wind and rain, keeping warm and dry. The house was easy to put together with all Velcro seams. I really like the door flaps that keep the rain out. One concern is how long the house will last being out in the open. I do have it off the ground. I think it would be better under a carport or in a garage. But it’s working beautifully now and I don’t worry so much about Carolina being out in the cold.
