Worked great and really liked the blender until the bottom fell out as I was lifting it up and lost $40 worth of food.

I bought this same blender over 30 years ago. Old one still works, but the wifey decided on a red kitchen, so decided on this. Should last a lifetime! Received fast at an unbeatable price! Can't go wrong with Home Depot!

Works great! strong and fairly easy to clean. This is my second Oster blender. The last one lasted about 12 years of frequent use until a friend killed the motor with stringy spinach stems. So of course I was going to get the same brand.

I love the two speed blender. In addition to being a classic, it is a simpler and more reliable.

My mother has had this blender for 50+ years and still works better than the more expensive ones like the Ninja. I'm finally buying one for me.

Works just like this version of blender always has. Previously bought a different Oster and gave it to the charity shop and bought the old fashioned on as it has less functions that work oh so much better.

My second one great quality the first on lasted me over 10 years with high usage

Bought this in January to makes smoothies in everyday. I was attracted by the simple one switch operation. I don’t know about you but I never saw the point in all those variable speeds and this is nice and simple. Up for on or down for pulsing. Can’t get much simpler than that and it does a great job blending fruit, seeds, etc for smoothies. I only need to run it for about 30 seconds and the smoothie is ready to go. The only con is this machine is noisy! About the only thing louder would be a jet engine outside my front door with the door open. It doesn’t bother me much but if I was concerned about waking up somebody then I’d have to send this back and go with a quieter model.

My old Oster Classic Blender finally bit the dust so I ordered a replacement. Wow, right out of the box I noticed the difference....my old blender weighed 5 lbs. and the replacement weighed 3.5 lbs. Lids plastic and leaks, maybe thru the plastic insert. 1st use to make a smoothie was loud and the motor smelled like it was going to start smoking.

We have had Oster blenders since 1948, then called The Osterizer. Finally burned out in 1994. Still using the jar on current base. The one we have now was bought used in the 1980's, getting antsy, sticky buttons, etc. Trying to convince my sister to buy a new one before it gives up in the middle of canning season.

I bought this after the motor finally gave out in my original Oster Beehive blender, after decades of almost-daily use. Hooray! Unlike most so-called "classic" products of the new millennium, my new Beehive appears to be even more sturdy and powerful than the original. This puppy compares well to blenders costing 2-3 times as much. Think about it: what's the point of having 12 speeds on a blender? With just two simple functions, "on" and "pulse," the Beehive will blend or pulverize whatever you want. It's especially wonderful for making healthy morning smoothies, as it easily crushes down ice and frozen fruit in seconds.

Simple and powerful. I love the glass pitcher...not a fan of plastic.

Good basic blender. Nothing fancy. More 'tinny' than my Oster from the 60's. A little louder too. Get's the job done.

Excellent product! But then, I already knew that, I own one. I bought the second one as a gift for my sister who fell in love with mine.

I've been using the blender to make frozen fruit smoothies and I like the simplicity of the blenders 2 speed toggle switch. You can press and release the momentary switch downward to pulse the unit or hold it down to run it at a slightly slower speed than the up switches (held position) speed. The only negative I've found is that my fruit tends to not slide down into the blades. Instead, I have to push it down and the unit did not come with anything to use to do that. Otherwise, it's been perfect for me.
