I love Black Mondo grass, it is such a strong stunning plant however the two plants that arrived were in pots way bigger than appropriate for the size. Leading me to think this was only to drive up cost. I'm happy to pay more to get a mature plant, that was not what I was sent. Returned these two plants.

This is ridiculously tiny! Not worth $31.00! You must be kidding I would not recommend this plant or company.

Out of all the plants ordered from HD, this one has been great. All the others died or arrived dead.

Love this plant! Hearty and pretty! Grows in direct sun or partial shade, multiplies too throughput the garden. is non evasive spreader. Recommend this!!

The Black Mondo grass arrived very well wrapped in burlap and in a box tightly packed. We planted them two days later and took root beauitfully. The look adds such a strong contrast to our evergreens in our zone 5 garden. Looking forward to watching them grow!

The plants were in great shape when they arrived and are thriving.

I ordered 2 of these Black Mondo Grasses and they arrived in perfect condition! Well wrapped in burlap, and ready to go in the garden. They were such full, healthy plants, I actually divided them quite well and ended up with 10 plants. I received them about a 10 days ago, and they are looking wonderful in their spots out in the garden, with a couple of weeks to acclimate before frosts. Can't wait to see them next spring!

Very nice plant! Not as "black" as I'd hoped (most of it is, some is green...I believe it may darken with age.). But its a gorgeous plant, and was packed very very well.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great condition my little mondo was upon arrival. Having never ordered live plants online before I was a little skeptical of how it would hold up in shipment. Not only did it arrive faster than expected it was packaged well and looks healthy right out of the box. It will make a great addition to my soon to be Japanese garden!

I bought this plant for growing under redwood tree. The plant was delivered on time. Plant looks healthy.

Little smaller than expected and not as deep a black as I expected. Some had already turned brown and crisp at the bottom.the leaves part.

I bought 2 1 gallon containers. I wish I would have bought 4. The plants were delivered in excellent condition and packaged very well. In one container the plant had small flowers blooming. The packing material in the pots were still moist. The plants themselves were about 12 inches tall. I soaked them in more water and put them in the sun on the patio for 2 days before planting them. EXCELLENT !
