What a rip off
It is black; however, the one gallon pot contained less lyriope than their 3 1/2” pots of variegated. Will not be shopping with this retailer again

The product says $29 for a gal., I got a quart.., I love tge mondo grass itself but I want what I paid for.. Now I have to dig it up they say and return it and reorder.. Im just going to return it to store... Nearest store is 45mins away

Healthy Plants
I am really pleased with the Mondo Grass Plants. The plants came in faster than expected. They were packaged well and there was no damage to the plant. I would order this plant from Home Depot again.

I can't believe these are really black!
So many times you buy a plant that is supposed to be black or blue and they are just not. This foliage is actually black, some of the newer leaves are dark green to black, but the mature leaves are definitely and completely black

Striking contrast for your garden
Great looking grass to add contrast and dimension to your landscape. Shipping was fast and they arrived well wrapped and secure. The plants all look great and I can’t wait to see them in the spring/summer against my Japanese yellow grass and blue fescue.

I have never ordered plants on line and was worried about the shipping process and what it would do to them but they arrived with the pots wrapped in plastic in a box just the right size. The plants were still wet and in very good shape!

It is the first time ever purchasing black mongo grass....
It is the first time ever purchasing black mongo grass. It arrived on time and packaged very well. I planted it in my new Asian garden and it is doing very good. I have received many compliments so far and hope it thrives well during the winter months. I recommend using black mongo grass to anyone who wants to add a little extra to their garden.
