Looks great. You need to take your time putting it together and make sure its not a windy day. Went together with ease but spend some time getting to know the parts.

it's hard to install, and the manual is not clear at all. i suggest they label the parts with stickers.

Dont like that the water runs off the sides. It looks nice and does the job underneath but you get wet walking to the right or left from underneath.

Easy to assemble and easy to install. Color matches my house trim color, looked close in the picture on line but when I unpacked it the match was perfect.

The 2 awnings I purchased for my front and back doors were easy to install and seem quite sturdy and I am sure I will enjoy the use of them for many years to come.

Took a little effort to get side pieces on, but mostly due to my own confusion. Did the complete installation myself, without any problem. Larger awnings would require 2 people.

Looks good and is of very good quality. I would suggest this awning to my friends.

Well built. Assembly was fairly easy, and anyone buying more than one will rip right through the second etc. installation was simple. Withstood heavy rain and very strong winds which went through minutes after completion.

This size is perfect over a single door entrance as protection from the sun or the rain.

Attractive, well built and sturdy. I was happy to see a support brace on the underside. This will help to prevent flexing in high winds or with snow accumulation.

installation takes a little pre-reading of instructions, but makes sense. good product.

This is the second awning we bought, the other one is smaller and gave us good practice assembling it. We like the look and the coverage from rain and sun, and the very reasonable price. It also was shipped to us very quickly

Overall relatively easy to install. Except for the 4 small screws that were missing when trying to attach the mounting rail, all the materials and instructions were included in the shipping box. Our hope is it lasts as long as the one installed in 1980. That awning succumbed to Super Storm Sandy.

I really appreciate how light the awning is for ease of installation. It appears to be reasonably durable. If it holds up as I hope it will, it will definitely be good value for money.

This is our second canopy just like this. Last one lasted 12 years, Big chunk of ice came off our roof to take out the old one. Easy to put together and install. Do not do it on a windy day. There are more expensive ones out there, but this is a great bang for the buck.

Upon trying to replace the awning I had I came upon this one, which is close. My son-in-law and and his friend installed it two days ago. It took them about 1 1/2 hrs. to complete. I pictured it to be somewhat deeper from front to back I think because it curves down in the front it appears to be shorter. It was hung at the exact same height as my old awning , but it looks higher I think the pitch is different. I guess it will take me time to adjust to the new look. It does what it is meant to over my front steps.

Bought this awning to protect an exerior door that was getting hammered by rain. Assembling the pieces of the awning was frustrating because about 40% of the pre-drilled holes didn't quite line up. I ended up drilling my own holes and securing pieces with bolts to by more sturdy that the tiny screws supplied. After all, it will be hit with heavy wind and rain. Once we got it mounted (2 person job) and the following days of rain, it performed well and protects the door fine.

Went up easy & is good quality. Like it better than the 40 year old awning that it replaced.

well thought out liteweight awning that has many applications

I purchased this awning for my back door. It arrived in good shape. It is well made and the instructions were easy to follow. Some of the holes did not line up and had to be drilled so the screws would fit properly. Looks good and should do the job of shading the back door nicely.

Very satisfied with product. I had to be very patient with the assembly and installation. Instructions are clear and need to be well read and followed. Did it myself. Could have used help with the installation. Took me about 4 hours to complete job. Looks great and met all our needs.

I put this together in my kitchen. Instructions are a little sketchy, but if you can figure out ikea instructions... these are workable. I think it was about 30 mins. to assemble, and probably the same to install. I'm not a brain surgeon, but I am handy and pulled this off relatively smoothly by myself.

I am happy with the shipping and the product. I would reccomend this.

this product has done a great job keeping the sun off my entrance door causing it tonot swell and stick my steel entrance door when its closed and opened now i needto buy one for my sliding glass door when the sun sets in the west as my deck and breezeway gets very hot on that side

The 2500 Series 48 in. x 42 in. Aluminum Door Canopy in White is a great item. It is not too hard to assemble and install. Provides great shade and rain protection to the side and rear doors. So far wind is not a problem for this awning. I’m very satisfied with this purchase!

The awning was easy to assemble but a bit more difficult to install. Make sure you have one or two extra people to lift and hold in place when attaching to the house. The awning looks great and provides some much needed shade on the sunny side of the house.

very easy to install. the awning is very clean looking fits the home well/ cost wise great we are going to buy more awnings.
