This product is a good solution for preventing soil errosion. We excavated a hillside and needed to protect the lose soil from washing down hill in the winter rain. It has worked great in the several rain storms since we installed it. Two minor issues:1) It was difficult to find the start o the material on the rolls. 2) The material at the end (inside) was wrapped pretty tight and hard to get it to lay flat. Wrapping on a card board tube whould have been better.

Excellent erosion control matting. Delivered on time and performed as advertised..

Was wet and moldy when picked up straw was already decomposing

The straw was not evenly distributed on the square footage. Some areas had too much and some had too little. I found a better product at Site One in Indianapolis for less money.

Was able to cut to size for an odd shaped lot. With landscaping staples, blanket stayed in place during windy and rainy periods.

Covers a lot of ground. Holds up well. Found same product at local feed supply store for almost half the $75 HD price.

Incredible how much space this covers for such a thin roll. Definitely covered 100+ linear ft.

Worked great to control run off of topsoil from barren yard.

You better have a LOT of patience when using this and having a partner helps! 1) Starting the roll is a complete pain the butt. 2) If you walk across it with sneakers or large tread boots it will most likely get stuck and pull it. 3) USE landscape stakes/pins! The wind WILL take it! 4)There are small areas with no straw but about as much as if laying it by hand. 4) It is much easier to use (with help) than laying staw yourself and helps prevent erosion.

It is not as full as the picture leads you to believe. We have to use loose hay on top to have full coverage.

Very little straw per single 'sheet' so needed to double over. Hard to work with as filament entangled easy. Got the job done, but really not that impressed.

Many bare spots. Probably wouldn’t buy again or recommend this product.

The Matt was a challenge to start unrolling and the last 20’ had similar issues to finish unrolling. The Matt works great and prevents erosion until the seed can be established. The price was the best I found.

Great product. Applied in mid October on an aggresive slope of new lawn. We have tond of greass on November 12th!

I picked it up and it was really wet on one end. Had to fight that to unroll it. The last 20’ was wasted. Would not unroll.

Some of the rolls were wet made them heavy and hard to handle

Grass grew better where we used this product rather than just loose straw. Was easy to roll out.

Worked but was a little light on amount of straw

It was a little lite for using it on a hillside. But we were able too get it layout and anchored down.

The product work better than expected. Other product I have purchase tend to cause tripping hazards unless you wear smooth bottom shoes. The product retained moisture from the first rain and the grass came in better than other products I have used in the past. The last 10 - 15 feet are harder to roll with one person, two people can make it work satisfactorily. It is an excellent product that I will purchase again.

A bit difficult to unroll but it met my expectations.

Item met dimensional sizes. The straw distribution was uneven but perfectly functional. Ours was a Steep bank so we supplemented thin areas.

All in all a good product. Quality control was lacking but got the job done.

I ordered 3 of these and all 3 were barely 90 feet long. and yes I stretched them. im calling bull in the size. ended up having to run out and by from another store to finish the job. buyer be warned.
