BEWARE - Both Home Depot and Milwaukee sites list this as coming with High Output XC 8.0 Ah battery, but they are currently ( Aug 2020 ) shipping with HD 9.0 Ah battery. If your goal was to get another High Output battery to use with your other large Milwaukee tools ( Table / Miter Saws ), you will not get one. Also, the HD 9.0 battery gains no reduction in charging time from a Super Charger like the High Output 8.0 does. However, the blower is awesome. Low and High speed settings. Variable speed trigger for blowing out garden beds between plantings. Light weight and easy to use. I fully endorse the tool. Buy in person. Check box descriptions. Get the right combination of tool and battery for your needs.

This blower saves so much time compared to starting up a gas blower. Works greats for leaves but i use it mostly for clearing the garage of dust and sawdust the shop back leaves behind. Balances in hand better with 12.0 battery. The 5.0 battery makes it lighter, but tip-heavy.

So far just blowing grass grass tripping from sidewalks and from street and around the planter beds it’s perfect for that

Great Blower plenty of power as much as hand held gas not as much as my Backpack Husqvarna but my less weight and easy to start

Got the weed eater blower combo tools only for fathers day. Bought an 8ah battery with fast charger for them. My yard is approx 1/3 acre. Weed ate and blew off whole yard on one charge. No over heats that others have reviewed. Power to spare on both tools. Only complaint is I have to get used to weed eater, edging with it is difficult and winding the string is a pain bc there is no "keeper" to hold lines while you push it into the tool. Bump feed works great.

I use this and the Quik Lok weed eater with attachments for my yard every week and I will never go back to gas! Plus I can swap out and use my batteries for all my work tools as well! Milwaukee tool junkie!!!!

First, in regard to this review this was a purchase for my brother who is deep into the Milwaukee 18volt platform. I myself use it though. Second, This purchase was made when this blower/battery combo was on sale. That certainly made it easier to select 5 stars in the value section. This blower like all Milwaukee tools is well made and balanced. First let's talk about the battery. The battery in the kit was a 5.0, however this blower will work with other sizes of Milwaukee 18 volt batteries. With that said... On the high setting anything under a 5.0 really gets chewed up fast. The reason for this is the way the blower works. It's not like an impact or saw where it's really most or at least half off when it use. For example using a driver you use it on say one deck screw, pause using it and grab another screw and start again and maybe move between joint locations. A blower is mostly always on. Sometimes you stop and walk back to get behind the other side of a pile of debris and start again but then it may be on for quite awhile. This is why little pancake air compressors are great for roofing and shooting nails but can't pump up a large flat tire that well. There just isn't much reverse. A 5.0 battery seems to provide over twice the run time of a fully charged 3.0. If you are using this blower to clean up a garage or something the 3.0 is just fine. If it's a larger shop or outdoor cleanups you'll want a 5.0 at least. As far as outdoor use. This blower did clean up wet leaves from a rock bed as well as one could hope. It also blows them through the grass though not as well as dry leaves. If you have a lot of leaves in the fall be prepared to switch out even 5.0 and larger batteries. This isn't uncommon in cordless blowers. As far as power outdoors its OK. It's not going to wow you. It will do the job and it's probably more powerful than some other cordless blowers and a couple gas ones. The thing is though this is not at all a replacement for a backpack blower or larger handheld gas blower when used outdoors. Where this really shines is convenience. Sure a gas blower might start in 2 pulls after hitting the choke and primer bulb 5 times but this blower goes as soon as hitting the trigger. Which does have a "on" lock btw. This blower is mostly used to clean up a large shop where cars, tractors, atvs are stored and repaired. You can use it to blow out the inside of a side by side UTV quickly. Then blow all the dirt, misc stones, etc on shop floor right back outside. It also is used to blow off the floor and cab of a tractor and dust off a planter and large mower. It's also so easy to use for blowing off sidewalks and patios especially. After lawn trimming and edging this blower is the go to for cleaning up all those grass clippings to complete a manicured look. Also, it can be used to clear light snow dustings. Lastly, as far as sound I'd describe it as a bit whiny but not offensive. Certainly quieter than a gas blower if you live in a residential area known for quiet streets. Any use in a shop would be affected be said shop size and surroundings. All in all this blower and battery combo are a great addition to any garage. While it won't replace a professional level blower it does perform well and is just too convenient not to find other uses for it the longer one has it.

I have numerous sizes. This one is big enough for most jobs using my medium sized tools.

Good power for an electric blower. Comparing this to my parents Worx brand blower I feel like this one will actually last for several years where the Worx I'm afraid to set it down too hard and break some of the cheap plastic off.

So far, its been a great blower. Leftover dead wet grass, small tree limbs, leaves and just about anything in my yard space. I use a XC8.0 battery, which is paired nicely. PROS: IT BLOWS, In a positive way. CONS: As you would think, it drinks batteries for breakfast. I need Milwaukee to sponsor me with a 12.0 to see what kind of run time I can get out of this momster!

Use after mowing for the patio and walks. I also blow out my car port and garage at the same time. Don’t know if you can see part of the big oak that is right next to the car port, but it drops leaves all year round and any good breeze blows tons of leafs into the car port and garage. Lots of power and very strong. You can tell because it take 2 batteries to do the whole job. I love it.

This is a great tool, very lightweight, very strong, pretty quiet!!

I have several blowers, 2 of them are cordless and one is a Name Brand backpack blower. I find that I use the Milwaukee 18v blower more than any of the others. It’s just as strong as my backpack blower and is far easier to carry.

I typically use this to blow off playsets that I custom build and once finished installing at a customer’s home this blower takes care of all of the sawdust and such to deliver a clean playset to our customers.

I use this thing everywhere, In my shop it keeps my property tidy and ready for customer visits, and onsite it keeps my clients homes as neat and clean as possible, I love the power! Top 3 most used and most valued purchases I’ve made from the Milwaukee family, and likely any tool i own for that matter. Compared to gas units even 110 plug in units I would take this blower 1st. Portable, Powerful, PERFECT!

On low speed this Blower does little more than a hair dryer, but on high it is decent for smaller jobs like quickly clearing the patio. Despite comparable specs (Max Air speed 120 mph, Max volume 450 CFM), this blower is no comparison to a gas powered Stihl BG75 (Max air speed: 135 mph, max volume 377 CFM). The Stihl has much more push and is more economic to hold. Ear protection is definitely needed as this Blower is quite loud (90 dB).

Very powerful for a battery, light weight and easy to manage.

M18 is the best i have bought. I have recently purchased the M18 miter saw and it is great. The power, battery life, torque, weight etc etc is unsurpassed. I have a lot of different tools and not one has let me down.

This blower works great. It has plenty of power for any job that you may need to tackle. I use it to blow grass clippings and dirt from my driveway and sidewalk. Has fair battery usage. I’ve found that it works good with a 5.0 for quick jobs. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and wonder if they are going to come out with another model that’s even more powerful. I like the fact that you can mount it to the wall which saves space

Should of bought one years ago. Milwaukee is a brand you can trust. Picked it up in store on sale. Fires right up no more fighting cords. Have used it for a couple of months now. I like the two settings hi and lo. My daughter uses it to blow grass off the sidewalk and while a little heavy for her, is no problem for me or my wife.

The blower works awesome. The only thing I would suggest is to get a powerful battery they offer instead I was using the lithium red batteries and the last about 20 minutes of continuous use on high speed.

I mainly use it as a broom, it has all but, replaced my brooms, using this Blower is a lot more productive than your standard Push Broom.

I am huge fan of milwaukee and was thrilled when they came out with their line of products for lawn care. The handheld blower comes in two speeds, except I find myself using the highest speed all the time. For a quarter of an acre this certainly gets the job done. I only with there was an attachment to reduce the diameter of the tip to increase effectiveness of blowing leaves or clearing a work space of sawdust. I recommend using hearing protection despite this electric solution being much more quiet than a gas-powered solution. This was an easy sell to me as I already posess quite a few milwaukee products that share the same battery platform.

Works great and well ballanced. Will need a large battery to keep it running.
