These scaffold platforms are very rugged, reasonably priced, and they add a significant amount of structural rigidity to the scaffold setup. The stability improvement is enough that we chose to add at least one Platform to each level, on a 20' tall setup for three scaffold systems. Our initial order was for only 6 of these platforms, but after seeing how much the stability improved to the scaffold we ordered an additional 9 platforms.

Product came quickly and curbside pick up was a nice option. One platform had several dings. I didn't see them until I was already home. I was disappointed as they are a gift for my husband. I know that they will get dinged with use but shouldn't come new with dings.

Very light weight and sturdy Easy to handle

I got these all aluminum MetalTech planks for the weather durablility. Most of my projects are not done in 1 day and set up and tear down is too time consuming so they may sit outdoors for a few weeks. I also have some plywood deck with aluminum rails version that started showing weather damage in just 1 rain. I painted the plywood and added traction sand to the paint for better grip. This MetalTech is just as flexible and flimsy as the plywood versions. It has the same 75 pounds per square inch rating. It is a few pounds lighter. My wife even noticed the weight difference as she carries them and hands them up for assembly.. The surface grip on the MetalTech is good. The top has knurling that works well. I would classify these MetalTech planks as "home owner" grade. I'd look for sturdier for professional construction work. I have 1 all aluminum commercial grade plank that is so much better than these lightweight aluminum or the plywood planks. I see MetalTech sells a heavier weight version. Humm I may get those for my next second story project. Prices are irrelevant as used scaffolding sells very quickly and costs are recouped. Buying new and reselling is much cheaper than renting scaffolding for more than a few days. At 7 feet long, they fit in a mini van. The MetalTech and the comparable UST brand scaffolding sold at the big box home stores is home owner grade. Rather shaky as you add more tiers. I'd say 3 tiers is the max. If you are looking for really sturdy stuff, look for commercial grade. For home projects it's well worth buying. Scaffolding sure beats working on ladders for so many projects. Well worth the cost and so much safer. I'm a diy homeowner.

These platform planks are secure and easy to move they are a must for any work that needs to move quickly

Excellent scaffolding, fits well and easy to handle.

They are aluminum decks instead of plywood but they have quite a bit of flex at the ends of the planks unlike the plywood ones....they work though

Fit the Safeway scaffold perfect..very happy with the aluminum plank..

They are nice light skid resistant. I have found though they flex quite a bit with a normal weight person. Would not want to use as a single per level. Also creaking noises as they flex. Not as sturdy as traditional 7x21 boards but weather impervious and great traction are some pluses.

Lighter than the wood planks?

Fits and works very well. Light to handle but well built. Very pleased.

Had to relocate some of the scaffolding attachment hooks in order to gang the planks up evenly.
