A: Good day Mat,
Not at all, here is the correct information: The standard 75 pounds per sqft is the standard way to display the load capacity of the plateform in the Industry. This means that the plateform has a capacity approx. 788 lbs.

A: I haven't measured the total length, but they fit in standard 5x7 staging/scaffolding and work great. Hope this kind of helps.

Q:How much slip grip do they have? Are they really slippery. I am going to use them as ramps for my ducks/dogs to get into and out of stock tanks 2' to 2'4" tall.

A: It's only about a 20 degree up slope so they would not have a problem
by|Jun 29, 2022
A: They do not slip at all. I mostly use mine on scaffolding but I am using one as a ramp going up approximately 30 inches and it works great.

Q:Ok so each plank is 11.08 square foot, and 75lbs per square foot rated.. does that mean each plank can hold 831 pounds.. or 2,493 for the set of 3?

Answer This Question
A: 75 pounds per square foot means each square foot can support75 pounds.
If you multiply by the square footage of the plank, then you get what the plank can hold, so long as you don't exceed 75 pounds per any given square foot of plank.
If the three planks are side by side, then their total square footage times 75 pounds per square foot would give you the total load three planks side by side can support, again, if you don't exceed 75 pounds on any square foot of surface.

A: I weigh 250 + approx 30 lbs of tools. One person would stand on approx four square feet at any giving time, so I personally would not use these if I weighed over 300 lbs, and would not double are triple stack under no circumstances. This is an excellent product within its range. I work by myself, they are great for the ease of moving them.

A: So you've done the math and arrived at the answer. That's an evenly distributed weight by the way not a point load and not unbalanced.
They will hold the weight but they are fairly flimsy compared to a standard scaffolding plank.

Answer This Question
A: The hooks are "riveted" in place. So, no, not removable. You would have to drill them out. No mounting holes. You may be able to modify them though!

A: Justme, The hooks are removable from the plank by unfastening the bolts that hold the hooks in place, but there is an integral v-shaped aluminum support bar that runs across the width on both ends that hangs down from the bottom about an inch, so if the mounting lip you are attaching to is about 1 3/8" in width, then you should be able to bolt it on with the support bar in place. I would not bolt it on without the support bar unless you have support underneath the entire edge of the plank as the support bar is an integral part of strength of the plank. Bubba.

A: Yes, the hooks are bolted in and could be removed, however I would caution you on their design they have a raised rib for traction, but there is really no way for water to drain off of them and it would compromise their strength to add holes. The water puddles up on them and they become a bit slippery in the rain. Still pretty strong for as light as they are though. Not sure I would recommend for marine use. I would buy again for construction.

A: Each hook is attached to the platform with one bolt and nut allowing for easy removal.
