Installed ourselves, not too difficult-if following pattern more wastage. Great around shower, not slippery in the least. Also very comfortable under foot. Used with a black epoxy resin. Matte finish has a tooled leather look while making it good traction when wet. All tiles delivered in great condition-none broken. Overall a fantastic experience.

This tile is beautiful. My only complaint is that the tile for the 2nd bath had 1 case with little pieces of ceramic burned on so had to account where I put them. My tile guy needed another piece and wasnt paying attention on one area. The pattern in the tile makes it diffucult to use the tile in other places. This tile i highly recommend ordering 15% or do not subtract the areas where it wont go this is due to the pattern. I subtracted the pebbles and cubbies. The master bath tile half the cases came scratched due to pieces between probably vibrating during transport. Thankfully I managed to put those behind the tub or laid them where they would be cut. BUT it was a painstaking process on top of the tile already having a complicated design. The green has more distinct tiles so best to lay them out and match the 3 together for a better look. DO not expect your installer to care as much. The sheen made the green deceptive had to go slow to make sure the shell in the pattern matched. ANY big project with this tile highly recommend laying the design yourself.

If you are thinking about getting this tile, DO IT! It’s so pretty and I got asked several times if it was imported. The only issue we ran into is when cutting the pieces, they sometimes chipped a tiny bit. It was a brand new blade, and we had it happen a handful of times. The end product is gorgeous!

Remodeled a bathroom used these tiles for floor. This tile is unique, has earthy colors and ties together light and dark colors. We read from previous reviews that use of this as a floor might be slippery when wet, so we were concerned. The tiles are stunning and not slippery at all. Did not line up the concentric pattern within the tiles and it still looks great. Bought an extra box anticipating breakage while laying and returned it unopened. These are high quality didn't break one.

This tile is a show stopper! We literally stopped dead in our tracks when walking through the tile isle a couple months ago. It is not available in store (must order online.) The delivery was less than a week and the packaging was top notch. The tile has 3 patterns so laying it was easy just pay attention to the pattern. It cut like other tile I’ve laid, very little chipping when going slow at the ends. The grout wiped off easy, just take your time because there are lots of groves!

This tile looks gorgeous but it was so hard to work with. It does NOT cut on your cheap tile snapper, and it chips on a cheap 7inch wet saw with expensive Bosch blade. Luckily, the chips can be colored in with a sharpie. The pattern, while simple, adds a layer of complexity and makes grout cleaning take three times longer than normal. I used maipei jet black grout and DAP black caulk. Both matched the tile okay. I paired with 4x12 white subway tile and MSI Glissen mixed glass tile.

I'm so glad I chose this tile over the blue subway tile I originally chose. I used the white and aqua Lux tile. The tile that doesn't say Lux in the description is matte and not polished. Because of the hexagon shape and embossed pattern it took the installers a week to finish. The only negative is there is no trim pieces, I bought trim from the same brand but it didn't match so i used the schluter metal trim and it looks good. I thought I would like the aqua tile best but the white is my favorite. The shower feels like I'm in an underwater scene when I'm showering.

Great contrast and very dark tile. Contrasts with any grout.

This will not disappoint. The detail and color is absolutely beautiful

I used the White hex & the Blue Lux hex tiles for my backsplash! The white hex has a matte finish and the Lux hex has some shine to it. They are beautiful!!! Packaged great no broken tiles ;)

I fell in love with these tiles. The originals are the same year as my house. In person, they’re gorgeous. I got the matte version (non luxe). It’s still kind of a satin finish. Choose your grout carefully. I wanted an invisible joint and went with Prism Charcoal (Home Depot’s darkest, highest quality). It’s very visible. Maybe you can find a darker one with some legwork. I didn’t have nearly as much waste as I expected, and returned 5 boxes, making for a much cheaper project. Beautiful!

We recently ordered and received the Merola Tile Gaudi React Hex Ocean 8-5/8 in. x 9-7/8 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile (11.41 sq. ft./Case). We ordered this tile to do a small space on our entryway floor. The tile is beautiful and dimensionally pleasing to the eye and to the touch. I would be proud to install this tile on almost any surface in our home, as it will lend a uniquely classic look to any space. When I showed it to my son and daughter-in-law, they decided to order a case to use for their kitchen backsplash. This is a good product that I would recommend. If you are handy with a tile saw, there are certainly several possibilities for this unique and beautiful tile. I have added a few pictures to give an idea of what the tile looks like. I laid it out on our entryway but have not added, spacers, adhesive or grout yet. The pictures are of the raw tile pre permanent installation

Please order the sample Tile is slick high gloss. Not sure how it could not be a slip hazard And the color is much greener

I used this tile for the backsplash of my kitchen renovation. It’s absolutely stunning, I love it! I do agree with other customers that due to the pattern and tile shape (and maybe poor planning) I ended up with a ton of leftover cuts and almost a full case of tile because I only needed six to complete the backsplash. I used the Custom Building Products Charcoal, which did not come out as black as I had hoped. In spite of those small disappointments I am still VERY happy with outcome!

The tile is beyond beautiful. It adds warmth, texture and a sense of luxury. We hired a tiler to install the tile in our master as it was a huge project and my husband (who has no tile experience), was able to lay the tile in our half bath. There is a lot of waste with the tile, is the only negative but it sure makes the space looks beautiful.

But, once up close, I didn't think the tile had the rick look as shown in the illustration. Now most hexagonal tiles want a coordinating tile; I think it would be hard to select one that would work well with this unique pattern. You could use this pattern by itself but, unlike a lot of other Merola tiles, you're not going to get a match all away around ... just like Gaudi would have wanted it! The tiles measure ~ 8.5" across the flats; they weight ~ 1 lb 15 oz each.

Merola is a trusted brand and this Gaudi React Hex Marina keeps me close to the beach. Porcelain is the most durable of all the tiles and this one is frost resistant. I have a cement slab in the far back corner of my back yard and even though I have lived here many years, I just never, until now decided how to make it look better. It covers the pipe that flows to the retaining pond at the front of the subdivision. This is an excellent quality tile and probably over the top for this project, but sometimes you just do what makes you smile. If you know what A1A is, it's where my heart is and this tile expresses just that.

These porcelain floor and wall tiles have a good color pattern and really like the texture and pattern that is imprinted into them and I am going to use them on a porch and am going to get various colors of these same texture and imprinted pattern just to mix them up to create a really nice look . They are manufactured very well and are durable and would look great on the floor or a wall .

This tile is absolutely amazing. It was easy to install and looks awesome! We used a charcoal grout, which was the look we were going for, took 4 hours to install on our kitchen island. Absolutely beautiful, dont think twice, just go for it!

I'm very happy to see the results of our project with Merola tiles on the floor. The whole bathroom looks authentic, sophisticated and modern.

The tile is stunning and we are receiving lots of compliments on it. The color is almost a pearl white with a beautiful sheen. We purchased the black and the white to use in our entrance way of our commercial office. The clean up is easy - even for white.

This tile is incredibly beautiful, durable, and unique. The box arrived very well packaged. One piece was broken, but we were able to use it for an edge, so it wasn’t a big deal. It was easy to work with and install. We used charcoal grout. Super happy with it!

We absolutely love this tile. But first the tile came in boxes that were totally destroyed. Good thing the plastic bands that secure them together kept the tile bundles together. With that being said there was no damage to the tile itself which is amazing and speaks to the durability of the tile. We put this on the floor in the kitchen. With kids and pets one of my concerns was would the design texture/grooves make it hard to clean. Im so relieved that it cleans very easily with a mop/dry routine. Over all this is a really beautiful tile. Everyone who sees it compliments and agrees its great. Highly recommended.
