Easy to install and they are working great!

2 arrived with jammed louvres but was easily corrected. Easy installation very good quality. Substituted black screws so they would match the frame. Finished product looks good and functions well.

Installed easy. Works perfectly. Bought one to try and now replacing all of them (15) 2 at a time.

I had some old ones that were very similar to these, but the plastic was cracking so the screws wouldn't stay in. These are likely only better since the plastic isn't cracked (yet). But unfortunately, one of the vents has already fallen out and required me to tighten the screws again. Perhaps this is due to temperature changes or strong winds, but it is frustrating if you don't see them laying on the ground for a while, which could potentially cause a pipe to freeze. I wish there was a way to secure the screws a bit better.

Well worth the expense, easy to put in secures firmly, keeps out what it needs to and let’s in air when it needs to also. Definitely looking at upgrading all of our vents.

Good experience, good fit. Just had to return half because installer said vents in window wells were not torn up. Animals (raccoon or possums) had destroyed above ground vents trying to nest under my house!

These were quite easy to install and seem to operate as indicated with temp changes. Installed in the fall and they closed. Hasn't quite been warm enough to open at 70°F. Clean, nice appearance.

I need more and homedeport does not have them. That got you a good.

The plastic splits too easily when tightening the support screws. I have had to replace 3 of them within a year of purchase.

My husband was able to install them easily. They look very nice. It has not got cool enough yet to see if they do in fact close on their own but so far very pleased with them.

So My previous review was I was going to put the vent in my freezer to see if they close after reading the reviews about they are junk and they don’t close I had to test it for myself here in Michigan it’s August I don’t want to wait till winter so after being in the freezer for 20 minutes they completely closed , so now I will install

Hi I bought three of these to put in crawl space foundation after reading reviews that they don’t close like they should I’m testing mine before I install them I put them in freezer upside top side if they don’t close I will return them , won’t wait for winter to find out , if they say how do you know they don’t close it’s August I will tell them that I put them in the freezer
