Really nice product. String is a little thin so it wears out quickly. Great for standard yard grass.

The trimmer does a great job. Better than using a gas trimmer.

I got this yesterday. Just packed it up to return after using it on my yard. It's fine if you have light/dry grass and don't need super precision... in other words, it's for old lady style weed eating. The line is terrible and needs to be adjusted constantly. Had to re-string it after it fell apart. Total hassle. Hate it.

Easy to use. Did what a gas weed eater just without the pollution, and the struggles of cranking up every two to three weeks.

I bought as a present for my Husband. He liked the lighter weight than his gas weed eater. I wouldn't use the gas one but this one I could use. Like the easy start too.

This is the first time trying this tool and look forward to using it .

Power is good adjustability for cutting at any angel is good. Also adjustable length is convenient

The pleasure of it being and lt literally take me on a journey up and and around my yard and I can do the entire 35 minutes… and enjoyed it sooo much!!! Edge about nine days..Right on target the delivery men were on time and called me to tell me they would be earlier..and were very good ..From beginning to the service knowledge in a word … “ OUTSTANDING” … I aske to see his lmmediate boss.. KIETH”but he was trading a few new employees.. but I left word to one ot this group to tell him!! Look .. I am 88 years old and am not that familiar with all of the new tech / training yoi worked have with learning new and try to do their bes… let’ s kissy say … I was treated very very we . … and the price for both units and Anothe 29off … He’ll .. Light yet powerful enough to do the job of trimming the grass around the sprinkler heads and fence. Much better than trying to use a small trimmer

Great tool and an excellent value. I can do both weed eating and edging with this one tool.

The shield is to small

Lightest Weedeater I could find. I like the adjustable length & angle of the head. I wish it had 2 strings instead of just one.

Pros Lightweight Gen well designed Great Battery time (18V 5A) worked 20-25 m still strong. Cons Trimmer is inadequate for edging driveway (Texas S Augustine turf 3'') w provided 1/16 '' 1.65 mm single feed line not capable hdling that type work in short order Comp to 25cc gas Weedeater this is a toy. Horiz better but very sm cutting radius. May wk ok for tiny resid yd

Makita makes the very best power tools on the market. Hands down, no contest. Don’t waste your money on any other brand. This weed eater does an outstanding job on a battery. I highly recommend it, best of class.

Good replacement for my 8 year old Ryobi that’s no longer holding a strong charge. Definitely not comparable to my Ego, but my wife can’t handle the Ego. If it wasn’t for the dozens of makita batteries I possess, I believe there are likely better options out there for the money.
