Perfect for big jobs

I've only had it for a few weeks, but overall it's a solid well built unit that charges quickly.

My husband and I first ordered the single-battery reciprocating saw to add to our new favorite collection of Makita tools, and we both immediately knew that, nope, one doesn't cut it. This saw blew us away just like the day we first bought the Makita double-battery circular saw! Two batteries really do their job and this saw will take on old-growth lumber on our deconstruction sites all day on a single charge, NO JOKE! plus, when you do finally have to charge the batteries, 45 min, and good!

Its a good product, u cant buy this the the store, u have to order it, thats what make the tool so specially. I use it all the time on everything i like to cut. I rated this 10 / 10

Always used the Makita power tools, very durable and long battery life, ready for a new upgrade need to donate my 15 year old tools to buy me a new set, would recommend Makita to all my friends. Great product¡!

The charger gets very hot and takes a long time to charge the batteries

Works well, but unexpectedly loud.

Easy to use easy to charge

Batteries last no time in this beast. Used it to sharpen mulching blades on a forestry mulcher. It went dead after about 20 minutes of grinding.

Everyone is always short on workbench space. Why wouldn't they make a wall bracket? I'm going to fabricate one with 1/2"flat bar stock mounted externally. Circuit board is to close to case to mount anything from inside of case. Charger works great. Ps it would be nice if reviews are just for item your looking at. I don't really care about saws or drills etc. When I want to read a review on charger

Why charge one battery when you can charge 2 at one time.

This tool is a time saver... especially for sheet goods.
