6 months after install, screen is useless cause track broke. MP won’t honor warranty & wants payment for impossible self repairs. Not so great for winter air leaks too. HOME DEPOT reps doing well with exchange!

Product was delayed over a month without any update from HD, then delayed again after I was told it was shipped. Nearly lost the job because the customer was trying to plan around me being in the home for a day or two, and had to reschedule multiple times. Handles and track for blinds were damaged, corner weld on frame is not aligned. Purchased & installed MP screen door for customer for free, but the quality of that isn't great either. Interior handle is the worst design, cannot grip the handle to close door properly.

I give it three stars for several reasons: 1. There are 7 stickers on it that won’t just peel off easily. One that came right off. 2. Where the tab held the slider down it had a residue glob that we must somehow remove. 3. The door is hard to slide the first few inches (10) because the “fur” under the door doesn’t stay in place. The mechanism that holds it is useless and very disappointing. I love the ease of moving the blinds!

Real experience. I bought this door on Aug 2020. It looks great nice looking door. But if you are looking for sound proof, then you are so wrong. The sound coming thru similar to the one I had when I was using my old 80's aluminum ones, just a 20% difference. Now you know te truth. Easy installation, nice looks. Also it does not come with the screen door.

I bought a pair of these, one left and one right facing for the corner of my family room. The left facing door operates soothly when opening and closing, however one of the blind slides fell off, and though I got it back on, falls off every time I open and close them. The other 3 blinds are also a problem...1 or any of them does not close entirely, meaning they are always crooked? The right facing door is like moving a 3-ton door; it is very hard to open and close, as is the screen. I think the track must not be entirely straight? That all being said, they are sturdy and when the blinds are all closed.

Great doors

I wanted to replace my builder-grade slider with a French door, but didn't have room for the doors to swing. This has the look of a French door without the space issues. It's a beautiful door, blocks almost all the Arizona summer heat, and was easy for my ex-carpenter boyfriend to install. I particularly like the vertical security lock. Now I need to upgrade the furniture on my screened patio to coordinate with the door.

The door is beautiful, expensive and works ok-ish. BUT...the door opening is only 20 inches. You'd expect in a 60 inch door the opening would be closer to 30 inches but you'd be wrong. The internal blinds take off 10 inches of opening! and you still have to buy a screen door separately. Would not recommend unless you are buying a 72 in door, but beware the opening for that would only be like 30inches.

Lock seems to have a problem but otherwise love them

Loved this door for the first year or so but now, 2 years later, the door no longer latches properly. It’s almost like the door shifted/sunk/isn’t on the track right. It started with no longer locking properly on the handle latch, you lock it and nothing happens you can still open it. Wasn’t a HUGE deal because it still has the secondary lock on the top. I didn’t love the handle lock not working for safety reasons but now the door doesn’t even close all the way. The bottom corner closest to where it closes constantly has a crack on the bottom and the top is flush. So now we have constant cold & hot air getting in and out based on season. This door is a complete waste of money, I need to look into how to contact the manufacturer because I should get more than 2 years use out of a $760 door. Don’t bother with this one, you’ll be like me and wished you hadn’t. Sliding glass doors don’t seem that complex of a concept but this one is a major fail on the manufacturers part.

Door is perfect for our needs, the built in blinds are great as the door is on the wast side of the house so the sun is really tough also got the low-e glass to help with keeping the hot/cold in the house.

Very Very cheaply made and non-existent quality control at the factory. -Loose screws inside door handle. -Screws holding the frame together poking through to inside in 2 spots.See pic -1 screw holding the frame together was stripped and sticking out 1/4" so I had to cut it off. -Sounds like paper tearing every time the door is opened due to gaskets being probably made out of paper.

I was hesitant to buy a sliding door but felt that this gave me the look I wanted at a quarter of the price so I’d try it. It is bigger than the French door I had replaced the original sliding door from the 1960s with so we had to tear out the frame we had put in 12 years ago. Good thing we did. There was a lot of rot we knew nothing about. This door is not only an upgrade to the more expensive door we took out but we no longer have to worry about the door rotting and causing rot in our home. It’s opened up our kitchen and is absolutely beautiful!! This would be a great choice at any price, but is an excellent door for the money!!

This door is great quality. There is a latch at the top that lets you lock the door at any width you choose. Very smooth to open and close.

After getting all of the residual adhesive off or the glass and frame, I was very impressed with the quality of the product.

My father and law and I were able to install this last weekend in a day and it turned out great. Solid construction, weighty doors, and a track for a screen to put in. At first the doors were very hard to move but after a week and some silicone lube they operate effortlessly. Make sure your rough opening has enough depth and if not mount some wood framing around the opening so the lip can be supported. total depth of the unit is about 5.75". My only issue is that the locking mechanism takes too much force with the key to lock, but I'm sure some graphite will fix that. Definitely worth not spending $950 to have it installed, you can do it yourself.

Don't be afraid to purchase this door. Actually I'd give it a 4.5 star rating. The door feels, and looks of a high end quality built door. The sliding door has a little heft to it (feels solid), while movement is with ease. Love the built in locking pin that will keep the door from opening when closed. Sure beats the scrap 2x4 I had to place in the lower track to guard against a forced opening on the previous door. No draft(s) either, Yea! Looks great, feels great, functions well.

This is a very robust slider opens and closes very nicely, the casing is wide giving an appealing look of strength. removal of old and installation of new less than 6 hours if the rough opening is level and plumb the door installs itself. Installed Easter Sunday 2019. I love the door and would buy another one with no hesitation. A couple of quality issues. The outside frame had streaks of adhesive that hadn't been cleaned or oozed out in shipping whatever it was was extremely difficult to remove I was hesitant to use any chemical I scrubbed it with window cleaner until it was all gone. According to the packing slip there should have been caps shipped for the holes after installation couldn't find them anywhere almost removed the door wondering if they had been taped to the inner door jamb decided not to I have no covers over the screws there recessed the holes are visible. The door hardware I have to give 1 rating. Perhaps an isolated incident needless to say I have adjusted it no less than 10 times I think is mainly due to the horrible latch that has very little movement and if it makes contact with anything during movement it moves back into the door. Finely I noticed the the latch in jamb is center but door mechanismn isnt I attempted to move it and one bolt was stripped in the toggle nut. I finely got it moved over and thought good no motre problems 2 days later adjusting it again the latch has maybe a 1/4 inch of movement and is a quarter inch high leaves nothing error. I love the added deaboolt but it is not aligned with the latch when door is locked I must pull door open for deadbolt to engage the QC could be better I do reccomend if you want a nice heavy duty door this is the one to buy.

Door have a stop that don't let opening all the way to protect blind lever . The lever is to large or thick so you lose about 12 inches of opening . Home depot would not install said the door wouldn't fit so I installed it my . Image added

For the overall door I would give 5 stars on just appearance alone. However one of the corner joints was a little off. No big deal and I did already have the old door out of the house. Installed the door per instructions with the door on OCT 13 2019 Have been chasing a water leak in the bottom corner under the stationary panel for about a week and a half. Reapplying silicone over and over around the door trying to locate a hole. Well today we had enough and got out the garden hose after yet again applying silicone all around the door. Come to find out it is leaking by the stationary panel and the frame leaking down under the door. Sprayed up and down the panel and that is the only spot that leaks. Water is coming in by the stationary panel and frame. The side frame must not be sealed the the bottom where the water is working its way by and running out from under the door. (On a side note we installed this door as it arrived together. We never pulled either panels out) Very much unsatisfied with this product in the area of quality craftsmanship and the fact the white outside face was covered with silicone overage. I had a video to upload but it will not load.

A better than NEW door!

the door itself is a really nice product. It has lots of really good features like the double lock system on the sliding door and the seam lock for stopping door flex in the wind. It is much better at blocking sound and wind than our old door.

This replacement door was easy to install as it came pre-assembled. It was our first time installing a door and we had no trouble. It is heavy and needed some muscle(husband) to lift. The door looks great and slides open/close with ease. I like that the lock set/handle are included, pre installed and work great. I didn't think I ordered the door with the internal shade but now that I have it I really like the tidy look of it. I'm giving this door four stars because sometimes the shade takes a few tries to make it come down all the way. I would highly recommend this door and look forward to a draft free winter and no maintenance/painting for the future.

This door was easy to assemble Iam really pleased with this door

I was looking forward to my door. It was picked up and installed today. My excitement was short lived because the blinds on the stationary door won't go up. It goes up about a foot and then the magnet disengages as if there's something right in that one spot. I called the warranty company and they instructed my installer how to troubleshoot the problem but even then it only worked 2 times with difficulty and returned to the same problem. They informed me I could return the door that was now fully installed and old discarded or I could have the glass panel removed from the door, return it, and then they'd send a new glass. I can't go an unspecified period without a door. I'd have to pay to have door removed or glass from 1 door and pay again to have them reinstalled so no real option. I'm really disappointed with this $1,100 purchase, left with no viable resolutions, and a broken door.
