Glad I found this, despite wrong photo
Before heading to my local Home Depot I checked their website for in-stock slip-on diverter tub spouts. I ignored this Moen option because of wrong photo, glad I saw it in the store. It is more money than their Danco options but worth the extra dollars. If you are wanting a solid slip-on type spout, I recommend this over any universal model as it avoids all the adapters which add installation time and are often problematic (read reviews). Styling is same as Moen's Monticello line. For me, this spout was a perfect replacement and installation was a easy as it gets. Very happy with this purchase.

Awful instructions. Nothing easy to find online. First install had diverter shoot off due to important metal part not being installed, but rather lying loose in packaging. Poor packaging. #headache

Bad design, unnecessary joints
The plate that goes to the wall is actually a separate piece from the spout. First you need to install the round plate, then install the spout. This causes a joint between the actual spout and the wall plate. If you don't install the spout tight enough, water can enter from the gap.
Not sure how Moen missed this small point, what is the need to make them 2 separate pieces? They could manufacture it in one single piece, thus avoiding this additional joint and additional installation step.

Broke after four months
The inner valve that switches from tub to shower is made of plastic. Ours broke apart just four months after we installed it. Finally getting around to replacing this now :/

This was an exact replacement for a 22 year old...
This was an exact replacement for a 22 year old spout so it was an easy job.
I’d recommend cleaning the pipe of mineral deposits before installation.
The hex screw that secures it in place is way better than a Phillips screw that I’ve seen used in some units. June 2023.
