Great investment for my back
I purchased this so I would not have to bend over to load the drier. I am so happy I did and I also received a bonus of having additional storage space as there is a drawer built into the pedestal.

Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not one to buy “accessories” such as this but… it does make it easier to load and unload laundry. It was really easy to install, quick and is sturdy. Originally got it for a household member with back problems and they find it a lot easier to do laundry now.

Excellent add-on

The washer and dryer work good. I am disappointed in the delivery charge, haul away old appliance charge , and setup charge. The delivery company that has the Home Depot contract told me they do that for free as part of their contract with Home Depot and I should not have been charged by home depot separately . Disappointed in Home Depot extra charges

Game Changer!

Had to do my own installation when you offered installation and told me no because I did not buy it when I bought my other units so I will not give a good review or buy appliances from you because I would have to install it myself

The pedestal is fine, but the deliveryman refused to install...
The pedestal is fine, but the deliveryman refused to install it because of “corroded” shutoff valves. After valves were replaced by plumber (who observed that they did not really need replacement), Home Depot twice scheduled the installation and each time cancelled without notifying me. I’m very disappointed in Home Depot’s customer service.

It worked, that is what we needed, we needed something to lift the washer up because of the placement in our basement. That is what we used it for.

Do NOT buy this pedestal if...
Bought this with my new washer and dryer and after the installation was finished I found out that you CANNOT store your "normal sized" laundry detergents...
The internal dimensions on the "lip" of the pedestal its-self stops the drawer from being able to close with laundry detergents in the drawer!!!!
Are you KIDDING me LG? Who designed these things?!?!
I am literally going to have to take an angle grinder to the lip to make room for normal sized laundry detergent to be stored!!!!!! SO FRUSTRATED!

Great drawers, brings the door of the washer/dryer to a perfect height. Was pretty straightforward to install. My only complaint is some spray bottles and liquid detergent is too tall to go in the drawer. You would have to lay it down to store and I feel that is asking for trouble.

Actually, everything was great. Except the installation. I was informed by the installers that they do not attach pedestals to an existing washer and dryer. That would have been a key fact to be aware of.
