PRICE -LOOKS-FUNCTUALITY ALL IN ONE. I added this product to match my LG stove/oven and I am very pleased. Love the 2 shelf set up and I think the microwave ovens that offer a handle on the door are much better than those you have to push the "open" button. This 1000 model is all the power I need. As for installation I cannot say--my kitchen remodel team installed it in about 15 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am somewhat satisfied with my purchase. It’s a nice microwave and it looks really good in my kitchen. I’ve had a sensor microwave before and was extremely happy to have one again but it doesn’t sensor cook everything perfectly like the one I had before did. And the buttons are dark and harder to push. I also do not enjoy the incessant being every 30 seconds if you do not open the microwave right away.

Door switch assy fails to turn on Magnatron. Service tech has visited twice and says there's nothing he can do under the warranty to fix it after 10.5 months of use. Door latch does not engage one of 3 switches, so no heat even though it appears to run.

We love this microwave. It’s easy to use. The display is clear and bright enough for us. It’s fast and easy to keep clean.

The microwave looks nice, but the keypad beeping noise are really loud. Also, the keypad is black and the font is gray so it's really hard to see the numbers. The font should be a bright white so it's easier to see.

Light underneath microwave to dim make a dark spot in our kitchen When all of our on the counter lights are on.. Panel does not light up need a flashlight to see the numbers when you want to use the microwave very poorly engineered. We were looking at a French door two draw LG freezer refrigerator but changed our mind

Like the design and function of this microwave. We got the black stainless and it really complements our mid/dark toned maple cabinets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 3 weeks ago, will be replaced next week. Very difficult to read display despite misleading ads showing bright, white numbers and letters. Display requires too much finger pressure when choosing options. Heats evenly and quickly. Has some convenient, quick-cook features, but unreadable, press-hard display is a knock-out factor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and we are very happy at this point. Easy to clean, much quieter exhaust, and not as noisy as our previous one. Only 2 minor issues. There is no way to silence the incessant beeping when cycle completes and light underneath should be brighter. It would also be nice if all manufacturers standardized all the mounting hardware and holes. This is our 3rd unit and there are now 9 mounting holes in the above cabinet. Looks terrible. We got lucky and this unit fit exactly on our previous wall mounting bracket at the bottom. I will definitely be looking at other LG products. Thanks!

Must look and press hard to select function and cooking time options. Time display too daylight bright, doesn’t dim. Interior with raised turntable looks and feels small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG stove and Microwave in December 2020 and absolutely love them. I especially loved the knock, knock lights on in the oven, the air fryer, self cleaning features and anti fingerprint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I became a reluctant do-it-yourselfer when our go-to installer on the island was scheduling four weeks out. I found the LG microwave in our hometown, drove it 3 1/2 hours to the beach and sat it on the counter. After a few days of trying to find an alternative way to get it installed, I disassembled the old, heavy, non-functioning microwave over the range and removed it. The LG bracket was not that difficult to mount, turns out, and the microwave had the advantage of being lighter, while also having a more durable finish inside the over. This made the installation pretty easy, much to my surprise. The functions of the LG microwave are exceptionally easy to understand, and the slightly larger capacity has made it easy to cook and re-warm taller items. Cook times also seem somewhat faster than our “retired” product (another brand). I like the easy-to-clean interior, the simple operation of the control panel, the ability to add time on the fly and the general appearance and match with the stove beneath it (also another brand). The LG microwave functions as advertised and is a good-to-excellent match of functions and price.

The only thing I would like is being able to enter the temperature instead of having to start at 350 degrees and hitting the plus temperature button to get to your desired temperature.

I bought this microwave four months ago. I am very disappointed with the “invisible “ control panel. My wife and I have to use a flashlight to see what button is which. How do designers think that is appropriate? It really galls me that the photo on this page shows a panel that is NOT relevant. It shows white lettering on black panel. It isn’t the LMV1831ST microwave that I own. (See photo below)

I bought this Microwave to replace one we had for 18 years. Hopefully this new one will last just as long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG microwave is sleek and efficient. It’s shorter than my old Whirlpool allowing more room between my slide-in stove. It’s very roomy inside and quickly heats up food. I love the grey interior and optional rack. Would have given 5 stars but it’s kinda noisy to close. That could be due to it’s newness.
