I thought this had a key entry and key exit lock, but it has a twist lock on the inside. What a disappointment! It is very pricy for what you actually get. It was below my expectations.

The handyman seemed to have no problem switching out this Kwik Set kit with the other set. I do wish that this set had the horizontal handle as before.

Great Workmanship and quality for the DIY

Quality product% installation was easy because of the optional setting for different sized door% great product.

The lock set was not compatible with a left hand in swing door i even did a video chat with a kwikset rep and he agreed that it was not compatible with that type of setup and isn’t truly universal to all doors

The lockset is a good value for the money but doesn't seem to be the best quality. It looks to be adequate but the metal is light and average quality. I don't know the longevity.

It was similar to the doorknob that was already installed in my house. So I was able to install it fine. Good quality. Recommended.

I replaced an almost identical Kwikset Brass front door set (originally installed in 1997) at my personal office. The insides of the old set had just worn out. The new set installed in a very short time, and the SmartKey option allowed all of the existing keys to continue to function (all doors are identically keyed so this was a must for me). The bright brass looked excellent against the black door paint, making for a classy look to the front entry. HD texted me the product location in the store, and I was in and out within two minutes of entering the store. Home Depot is a step ahead of the competition.
