[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this at Christmas time to replace a 17 year old food processor. I didn't want a super large capacity, but I did want to be able to shred and slice in addition to chopping. This machine fit the bill. The only thing that I didn't like was how loud the motor is when running. My old cuisinart machine was whisper quiet, and this one sounds like a jet engine. Just something I have to get used to, but otherwise, this is a great machine.

So sorry I bought this. I am seeing in others’ reviews the problem with the safety lock. The piece attached to the bowl that is to activate the lock is not long enough to activate the lock and allow the unit to turn on. Like others, I used a knife to press the lock, and what do you know? The unit turned on! I have worked with this so many frustrating times! Too bad the bowl has to be attached to actually work!

Was tempted so many times to pull it out early. Now I don’t know why I deprived myself for so long of having it. This unit functions beautifully and has numerous safety features - which is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift and it's been my favorite. I love the different blades and how easy it is to use. I'm a kitchen novice and have no problem using all of the different features. Highly recommend!

Attachments are easy to use and clean, ExtraSlice Food processor is quiet fits perfect with my other kitchen appliances just love it.

This unit seems to be on the weak side of machines when it comes to dough making. It shuts off before I hit the stop button. Not well suited for this task at all.

The two different type feed tubes work well specially if you want to cut green beans and just have a couple of them, then feed it into the small tube. If you want to grate or slice a bunch of carrots at the same time then use the big feed tube. The small feed tube has a tiny hole for dispensing oil and liquids for emulsification, makes good mayo and salad dressing. If you want to make dough for pizza, bread or chapatti (roti -Indian flat bread) it works good but I only wish it had a dough blade too. Whether you are chopping veggies for a salad, stir fry, soup or curries the speed at which this little machine does the job is phenomenal!!

It’s a great product

Received this and have now used it for three projects. Found it to be easy to use and easier than a larger one that I have to clean up. Not too noisy for the job it does.
