You get what you pay for. This grill is inexpensive...
You get what you pay for. This grill is inexpensive for a reason. Thin gauge metal construction, cheap burners, no lights, no rotisserie, no clean-out tray. Spend a little more for a solidly built unit.

grill assembly
The grill assembly was terrible. I purchased this grill to go in a built-in barbecue with a natural gas line. The tech showed up, unpacked the grill, which was assembled already, and set it in the bbq. He never took the time to switch it from propane to natural gas. I had to pay my landscapers extra to make it finally work. What did i pay Home Depot for? All he did was unpack the box!

The grill is great looking and performs well but craftsmanship...
The grill is great looking and performs well but craftsmanship is mediocre. The grill grates are all out of square and I had to have them replaced before I could even use it. The screws came out of the side panels so when it came out of the box a bunch of random screws fell out with it. Once it’s all fixed up I’m sure it’ll be awesome. I get that it’s less expensive but these are kind of the basics that should be taken care of regardless of price.

Needs improvement
Overall it’s solidly built, but the three cooking grates fit too loosely and slip down the back or front where they shouldn’t. It’s normal on $150 grills but not expected on this $900 unit.

This grill was packaged great - no dents dings or...
This grill was packaged great - no dents dings or scratches. It was easy to install and heats quickly. I did purchase the cover which fits perfectly. So far after a dozen uses this has proven to be well worth the money. I have had a kitchenAide in the past and customer service has proven to be very good in replacement parts.

Installed in an outdoor kitchen to replace a unit that was on 6 years old. It fit perfectly in opening and works great. It provides even heat across all burners. I have used it 2 times since installation.
I feel that kitchen aide has done some upgrades in quality of materials over the unit I removed.
