This little mixer works extremely well and compared to the big gas powered mixer we have been using it's amazingly quiet. The height is great for lifting bags into but the flip side to that is that it is very awkward to do projects that require a wheel barrow height. I would recommend this product.

Mixed 145 80lb bags of Sakreet with this mixer last week. About 36 bags on four seperate days. I really like the wheelbarrow concept in the mixer. And I like the direct drive.

The Kushlan 600DD cement mixer met my expectations easily. The best part about it is that it works as a mixer and wheelbarrow combimed. Mix then wheel over and dump in place. The trick to success is not adding the whole bag of mix at one time. Just add half a bag. After learning that, no issues.

Unit was easy to assemble and within 1 shift, paid for itself. It never missed a beat and clean up was a breeze.

Very handy and versatile piece of equipment used this machine to mix up 62 bags of floor leveler and was very easy to handle through doorways. We have already used it again for another project pouring a section of sidewalk.

Very good to work with used mine for side walk all around my house.

Great customer service from the company. I had an issue with mine out of the box (one of the electronic components had a bad internal connection). When I called the company and told them how the mixer was operating, they didn't bother asking about warranty info, etc. They just told me that their product shouldn't act like it was. Based on my description of how the mixer was working they decided that one of three components could be malfunctioning. They sent me all three components immediately. I was able to replace them in less than 5 minutes. The mixer works great. First class company.

This thing will work forever and it's great for my home projects no more hand mixing of for 4-80 pound bags or any smaller amount it works great

Seems a bit pricey concidering the plastic drum but it works great & seems to have great reviews.

Overall a great mixer. So far I have used this on one small job and one medium size job. I did a store pickup because I had read other reviews where direct shipments (via other vendors) came with beat-up boxes and possibly minor damage. It would be nice if the manufacturer either included a small 8 oz bottle of gear oil, or at least printed on the outside of the box that you need it (which it does say in the instructions inside which are buried in the box). When I picked it up I asked the person at the HD tool rental if it needed it (since they rent this model out), and he said it did NOT (go figure), so I ended up going back to the store. It would also have been nice if they told you to add the gear oil before you mount the motor, it would have been easier. There was a burr in one of the wheel hubs that prevented inserting the axle, but it was easy to drill out. One of the holes for the carriage bolts that mount the tub was not properly machined out, so the one bolt could not be fully seated. The bolt (pin) that connects the tub to the motor spindle (sorta obviously) does not get fully torqued down, but the instructions could remind you of that. I emailed the manufacturer about most of the above and never received a reply. The biggest issue (as pointed out in many other reviews) is having to support the mixer at the proper angle to get proper mixing. If you mix in the default position, it will definitely not mix properly. There are several issues with fumbling with support blocks .... (1) it slows down the whole process if you have many bags to mix, (2) with a full turning tub it can easily 'walk' off the bricks or whatever you are using to support it if they are too small, and (3) with a full tub it moves the center of gravity precariously too close to the front (I had one mix lost when it nose dived after walking off one of the support bricks because the job site was on somewhat uneven ground). A wheel lock of some kind, and/or a built in kick stand to angle/hold the mixer to the proper angle would really help. Apart from these things, it performs really well and is super easy to clean.

I ordered the mixer from the Home Depot web site. I wish they had it in stock at the store. It took a couple of weeks to arrive. Assembly wasn't bad, but you'll need a socket extension bar to bolt the bucket on. 4 bags of 80 lb at once! Awesome!

Easy to load and with wood blocks to change angle when its mixing, it blends ingredients quickly. Don't try to unload into a small form directly. Dump concrete into some low container then transfer concrete to form. I would recommend this mixer.

The cement mixers is good overall. Home Depot's fulfillment was fine. The problems I saw were with the quality/craftsmanship of the mixer. The bolts on the gearbox could not be torqued to specification because there is no way to hold them on the opposite side from spinning. The indentations on the gear box made to prevent the bolts from spinning are either too soft or too far to be effective. Also considering the wight of the full drum the bolts that hold the drum to the base seem to be to small and too few. I am not sure if they are going to withstand prolonged use of the mixer. Other than that Home Depot's price is great for the product.

This mixer is relative lightweight making it very easy to move around. Mixing four 80# bags of ready mix is no problem at all. So far I have mixed over a hundred 80# bags without any issues. I am very pleased with this mixer so far and highly recommend it.

I have poured 5 yards so far. It takes about 12 mixers to make 1 yard. Works great and is well balanced when full or empty. Pushes relatively easy when loaded even on rough ground. I would recommend this mixer if your looking for something for small jobs. I was able to mix a load in around 8 - 10 minutes. So a 1 1/2 yard project took me, wife and daughter around 3 hours. Good family time. Absolutely no regrets with this mixer.

This mixer is light, making it very easy to move around. It is also very powerful. It easily mixes 4 80pound bags of concrete at a time. So far I have mixed up over 4800 pounds of concrete and have had no issues with this mixer.

We purchased this mixer to do some home improvement cement projects. We can load this mixer to the max and it never slows down. High quality, well designed, hard working, easy to clean mixer.

I purchased this product several weeks ago. The fan shroud on the motor was smashed and parts were missing. The connecting bolts that mount the motor to the frame were stripped and need replaced. I contacted the manufacturer and was promised the parts needed to fix the mixer but they were never shipped. I followed up with the company and was told by a rather rude individual to fix it myself. I can't really rate this product because mine still isn't operational. I'm going to return it and find something that works.

I purchased this mixer based from the good reviews I have seen. It is well manufactured, worth every penny spent. I have been mixing by hand two 80# bags in a wheel barrel and it takes too long and is hard on the body. With the new mixer I doing five 60# bags at a time, So much easer and much faster. Clean up is a breeze, lots of power with the 3/4 horse motor. and easy to dump. at the time of my review I have had the mixer five weeks and have mixed over 200 bags of concrete in it. I have to say this is one of my better tool purchases!.

Was mixing lots of rock, sand, portland cement and water in a wheel barrow and it it was taking a lot of time as well as a lot of energy. Decided to purchase this Cement Mixer in the hopes that it would speed up process and not wear me out as much. Was a bit concerned at first because it is pretty light weight and wondered if it could deal with the 250 plus pounds of mix that I would be putting in it several times a day. That was of no concern after I began using, it is pretty durable. Next concern was it was not mixing very well and I found myself just as involved in the mixing process as if I was using wheel barrow but this was an issue of not using proper ratios of rock, sand, portland cement and water. Once I got ratios right it worked great and I'm very happy with purchase. The 6.0 cu. ft. does not mean you are going to put enough mixture in this thing and actually have 6.0 cu. ft of concrete. I have to mix about 250 plus pounds of rock, sand, portland cement and water 3 times to fill a 1 ft by 1 ft by 6 ft form.

Just buy it. American made and well made. Easy assembly. Uses 750 ml of higher viscosity gear oil you put into gear box before first use. Remove drain bolt and pour it in. I mixed to date 12500 pounds of concrete so far and unit shows no wear or tear. For me, I preferred mixing 2 90 pound bags of quikcrete at a time. Mixes them in 5 minutes. My best advice: when unit is tipped to pour out concrete, opening is low to ground. So we built a pallet slightly wider than the unit and about 7 feet long. On top side of pallet we fastened an 8 inch wide board and each side as a track for the tires. This allowed us to get more height, a stable flat mixing surface, a good pour position and to tip the unit forward while mixing to facilitate a good mix. This technique saved a lot of time and prevented any tipping, even on unlevel ground. In short, for almost any job this unit pays for itself many times over.

This mixer is great for small pours. Much faster than mixing in a wheel barrow.

The mixer was easy to assemble and works relatively well. I had some trouble keeping the concrete mixing because the mix was sticking to the bottom of the drum. I put a 2x4 under the back tubes to raise the rear of the mixer and that seems to resolve the problem. The worst problem I have is the location of the on/off switch. It is difficult to locate easily.

The mixer was easy to assemble. I have just started using it, but so far, it works great, is easy to use, makes a good batch of cement and is easy to clean. At this point I am happy I bought this mixer.
