Q:I want to mix the three components. Sand Gravel and Portland instead of buying bags. Is this the right machine. It seems like a lot of tension on that shaft into the motor. It looks like that amount of leverage will be a point of failure.

A: You can but you will need to build a platform to do so. As was stated though this is designed to act like a wheelbarrow.

A: I don’t think so. The wheel barrow may be to high and not strong and stable enough to take the weight of the mixer and concrete once you tilt the mixer and lift.

A: Home Depot shows the same capacity for the 600 & 350 which cant be right. Kushlan website sales sheet says the following: “6 cu. ft drum. Mixes 5-60 lb bags of premixed concrete” and on another line specifically states “Will Mix Up To 300 lbs”.

A: it says 180lb capacity. So 2 80lb plus the water would bring it just under 180lb dont listen to the guy that says 4 80lb bags, thats 320lbs plus water.

A: I’ve used both the 5000 pro finish and the regular they’ll both work. As far as water the more water the weaker but the work ability is harder with less. Peanut butter consistency is perfect.

A: You can use any kind of concrete mix in it, only you need to add water as needed. Do not add too much water. Add some water and mix it, if need more add little bit more water. Watch Youtube Videos.
