The attachment screws were camouflaged in the packaging. I had already drilled to enlarge the holes in the lid to use the old screws when I found the new screws that came with the packaging.
It would have been better had these been more visible from the outset. I only discovered them when I was getting ready to discard the packaging.

The attachment hardware and the grip tight inserts were missing. Kohler Customer Service sent the parts but it took two weeks since the parts were out of stock. Most disappointing was how small the inner seat is. On a Kohler round bowl toilet the grip tight inserts barely sit on the rim. Returned..

I purchased a condo and both toilets are Kohler in almond. One seat recently cracked and I had to special order it. I ordered a Kohler Easy Close and had to return it because apparently my toilet isn't elongated. The second seat I ordered was the Reveal Q3, (actually the customer service agent picked it out), it fits the toilet, except for the fact that the seat is half an inch too short to meet the toilet porcelain base all the way around the outer rim. It works, but isn't exact.
I never had such a problem buying a toilet seat. I originally ordered an elongated and had to return it. Now this was is off. I hope it doesn't crack. Who would think it would be so hard to replace a toilet seat?

Did not quite fit even though I measured very carefully....
Did not quite fit even though I measured very carefully. Was not easy to assemble as it stated on the packaging. We are not handy, and it took 2 of us to figure it out plus at least 45 minutes of our time.

not to size! beware
The claimed width of this product is misleading. The max seat width is about 13.5 inches and the lid surrounds the seat when closed making the total product width wider. Seat itself is thin not like the 1 inch thick version I had previously. Its going back to the store. Also we had a delivery problem—the shipper claimed if was delivered 22 hours before it actually was put on our front doorstep!

Not the quality I was expecting from a Kohler product....
Not the quality I was expecting from a Kohler product. Although the seat is screwed as tight as possible to the toilet, the seat itself has give in its own hinges and therefore has some play when seated on it. The fan is more of a gimmick then functional.

It has been shared with the appropriate team for future improvements. The installation of the Kohler Quick Install hardware should be followed carefully to ensure it is tightened properly. The installation instructions are here: https://goo.gl/cZAGHW. The cone shaped nut needs to be pushed up into the mounting hole in the bowl (from the underside). If the nut is not pushed into the hole, the split in the nut may expand during use and you will need to continue to tighten it. We also recommend checking to ensure the rubber bumpers were inserted in place under the seat. We'd like to connect with you to ensure this issue gets resolved. I purchased this as a replacement for an existing Kohler toilet in my home, (the old one had lost it's "Quiet-Close" ability about a year ago) and was really pleased at how easy it was to swap out the old seat for the new one. No tools necessary, just flip up plastic hinges, & slide forward to remove. New one slides right into place, snap hinges down into place, and that's it! Plus, no more listening to the toilet seat slam down!
