Second one was good
Got one but it had black specks imbedded in the plastic. The second one was good. Good color match thanks to customer service help. Robust design not flimsy. Like the soft close and quick mount system.

Feels inexpensive and seat tends to separate from the cover.
The seat definitely feels inexpensive and pliable. And twice since installed the hinge connecting the west to the cover has separated.

Best seat $ can buy.
After having it a couple of months and keeping it clean - it stays spotless, very little permanent stains on the inner ridge but again stains only occur if you don't clean it every couple of days which every household should be doing anyways; if not once a day. It's sturdy, it's quiet and comfortable.

GREAT BUY
This is one of the best toilet seats you can buy. It not only has a quiet close you can also detach it from the toilet for cleaning. Just pop open the two clasps in the rear of the seat and it detaches for easy cleaning. It is also not more expensive than other toilet seats. Very reasonable and easy to clean what more can anyone ask for?

The installation of this toilet seat’s Quick Install hardware must be followed carefully to ensure it is properly tightened. The installation instructions can be found by following this link: https://bit.ly/3K1Z1dy The cone shaped nut should be pushed up into the mounting hole in the bowl (from the underside). If the nut is not pushed into the hole, the split in the nut will expand during use and you may need to continue to tighten it. Terrible nuts and bolts
This is the worst toilet seat I have ever bought. The nuts and bolts do not tighten. I even exchanged for a new one, and it doesn’t work. Whoever thought this was a good design, should be fired!

Perfect match
When we bought our house, the toilet seat cover didn't match the Kohler toilet. It was original to the house which was built in1989 and we doubted we could find a perfect match as it wasn't a common color. We assumed it would be discontinued by now but it wasn't! We are very happy with it and have always loved Kohler's quality.

Was easy to install as it was replacing an existing, same style toilet seat. Was able to reuse the existing fasteners as those weren’t broken. Just the hinge.
