This tub is awesome, very deep. Overflow is very high up to hold more water, sides and ends are narrower to make the internal dimensions longer and wider by a few inches. Installed easily - tipped it up at one end to get into the alcove then lower it down. Easy with two people. Well-built flanges all around - fastened with 1.5" galvanized roofing nails compatible with putting in a tub surround. Perfect fit with a 30" tub surround (I chose a Delta surround and there were no issues with the fit.) Nice finish. Easy plumbing - the drain hole was in the same position but a 1/4" higher than the old tub. The overflow pipe is much taller obviously and in a different location (2" from faucet wall as opposed to 4.5" on my old tub. Had to redo the overflow piping. Must buy the recommended overflow designed for that model. I went with brushed nickel. Pivot on the overflow housing that attaches to the outside of the tub makes configuring the overflow pipes and mounting easy. Really big deal to make sure the walls are plumb and the corners square all the way up the walls (not just at the bottom), as the supports for the tub surround need to line up with the tub flanges. Added a second 2x4 in the center back for a grab bar. Can't wait for the calking to cure so I can drywall and get the floor tile back down.

This was a large tub. At 6ft 1in I'm no small man and this is a really nice size. The tub as a whole is tall to give you the depth. We had to notch out our old house to make it fit.

There was a whole on the side of the tub had to return it and waited for another tub. Took way to long to get the first tub now I had to wait for the second tub.

After taking the tub out of the box and inspecting it everything seemed good. Right before installation I had it up agents a wall to take some measurements and noticed I could see sunlight on the corner of the tub where their was no fiberglass backing.

I was a little hesitant to order this tub online because l hadn't seen it in the store and wasnt sure how it would look, but once it was installed it looked sooo much better than l thought it would. It was a little difficult to install, but otherwise we had no problems with it. Well worth the purchase. It's simple, yet elegant and has a nice shine to it. Perfect addition to our bathroom. Beautiful tub. Very sturdy, but nice and lightweight for my upstairs bathroom. It is a very deep tub, so be prepared to have to take a big step to get in. Wouldn't recommend for small children.

Tub fit perfectly in the existing space. Tub was lightweight but very durable. Apron looked very attractive after the installation. Homeowners were very satisfied with tub after installation and using it.

I couldn't be happier with this gorgeous tub, it's the perfect addition to my guest bathroom.

We have ordered this 2 times and both of them have been severely damaged We will see if 3rd one is ok Waiting for it to come in ??‍??Seems like someone could check it to make sure it’s ok before we get a notification that it has come in

Just being installed now. Looks good. I would prefer more of a back slope but very nice and deep.

Bought two of these and still waiting to find out from Kohler if they are defective or just made defective. You cannot set anything any size on any of the sides or corners or it will fall in. Please take note on the picture nothing is sitting on the sides

The tub looks great at first look, but the fiberglass thickness is laughably thin on the frontside of the pan. Just using the light from my cell phone, I could see spots that had little to no fiberglass coverage. Mine came with unfinished drain holes, with the overflow drain being completely rough on the backside, with the fiberglass not even sanded down to make a proper seal. The drain itself was sanded on the backside, but not completely flat. If you do choose to buy one, open the box at the store and make to look for these issues. I would recommend a cast iron tub, if your installation can accept it. I reached out to Kohler and got the ‘We apologize, take it back to Home Depot for a replacement”, while they have none on stock and the box is long gone.

Very sturdy, Thick heavy construction

First and foremost, this is a solid, fantastic tub. I've installed several and this is, by far, the nicest tub that I've ever installed. It's genuinely solid - even unmounted I wasn't able to get it to move around or wiggle. Once in place, it was about as solid as an old-style cast iron tub...at a fraction of the weight (and cost!) Not only is it solid (have I mentioned it's solid?) but it's deep too. I installed it in a small bathroom which previously had a fiberglass tub that was even too small for my youngest to fully submerge in. With this one, I can get my entire 6 foot 1 inch, 230 pound frame into the tub with room to spare. And it's comfortable too...the angle of the back is perfect for comfort. Overall, probably the best bathtub we've ever owned and that's saying a lot from a military family that's moved 17 times! My only word of wisdom is to open the box and check the tub for the correct drain placement when you receive it. I purchased a right-hand drain tub on the Home Depot website, and the label on the box from Kohler says right-hand drain. When I pulled it out of the box...it was a left-hand drain tub. Luckily, this was going in a first-floor bathroom on a crawlspace, so changing the plumbing wasn't an issue (and actually, it works better in this configuration) but if I was on a slab or was installing this in a second floor bathroom, I'd definitely be disappointed. Bottom line though is that this is a beautiful tub, very well made, and I highly recommend it. I'll buy another if I ever need to install a tub again.

This tub is beautiful and everyone loves it. More baths in my house than ever. Personally, at 63 I probably would not have bought it if I realized what a high step over 20" is. My daughter and her kids cannot get enough of it though as they love deep baths, my bath days are over though. It is awesome just be aware of the high walls to step over, I think in less then 10 years I may have to replace it for one with a door sadly.

Nice tub, arrived intact. Unfortunately, 42" bottom is too short for me to extend my legs without hitting the front. I'm 6 feet tall. Will be sending it back and exchanging it.
