Very happy with the quality of this faucet. Very substantial, not lightweight. Modern and functional. Looks fantastic with new vanity in guest bathroom. Also purchased Alteo towel rings and toilet paper holder to complete the look Had installed professionally but no problems.

LOW water pressure after 18 months. bought 5 sets of Alteo bathroom faucets 18 months ago. Love the style and quality. Function well. However, one of the 5 sets shows sign of low cold water pressure. The other 4 sets still work fine. Not sure what's wrong with the one that has very low water pressure. When we turn on the faucet, it runs well but low pressure within seconds. Disappointed with the brand. Quality and reliability are the keys to win customer confidence of your products.

Well designed faucet and and very easy and intuitive to install. The components are high quality. However, upon removing the items from the box, I turned on the handles and the cold water one squeaked. I was hoping the squeak would go away upon installation. Nope. Turning on the cold water resulted in an audible chirp. Luckily, I had some high quality router bearing lube that I was able to spray into the handle to abate the squeak. Both now work flawlessly.

Very pleased with the faucet, high end look without an extremely high price

Had to return first item due to blemish on spout. But the replacement was in excellent shape and installed fairly easily. Home Depot was VERY helpful during the return of the first item. If the 'looks' of this item appeal to you, you can't go wrong with the purchase. BUT do examine it closely before installation. The blemish on my first item was small/minor ...but in a location that you could not help but notice (thanks to my wife).

I purchased this as a Christmas gift renovation project, but waited to install it. I signed up for the January local Home Depot free faucet installation demonstration. I even watched multiple You Tube videos; one specific to the Alteo Kohler faucet! It was difficult access in the 23" cabinet with the sink and countertop already mounted. The RIGID brand multiple faucet tool used in the Home Depot demo was useless for the Kohler sized pieces. But determination and perseverance looked like I would still be successful. That is, until I took out the hot water side handle. After inserting it through the counter top hole, the handle immediately broke off! I had already put in the faucet and cold water handle. Since this is an online order only, the sink is semi assembled and unusable until a new part can arrive. I can't just run back to the store for a replacement. Very disappointing. I did notice a similar complaint Nov 2015.

Looks great and love the high arch of the faucet. Very easy to install.

Very stylish and well built. I've used all brands in the past 40 plus years of home ownership and learned only to trust Kohler and Price Pfister equipment for quality and appearance. All the other brands although comparable in price failed after the warranty wore out and nothing is more frustrating than trying to change out a bath or kitchen faucet from underneath and behind the sink. I installed this faucet on a new vanity over a brand new granite top and there's no way I could had installed this if I didn't have access to the rear of the cabinet before installation. The actual materials and workmanship is first rate and won't strip out on you if you're trying to minimize leakage. Internally the guts of the faucet are well designed and can be user friendly replaced should they fail, and with this nice a faucet, you'll want to replace the worn out parts rather than to throw it out in the future. Faucet has a classic, timeless look about it and the brushed nickel finish is easy to wipe down and clean.
