A:  Hello CAAR, this is Lisa with Kohler Co. I am glad to answer your question. A newly purchased Alteo widespread faucet has our ultraglide valves. Previously, the faucet did use our brass cartridges. You can determine if the faucet uses our ultraglide valves by viewing the valve body mounting hardware. The ultraglide mounting hardware will have an oblong threaded ring with 2 screws on either side. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A:  No it does not. Clean the aerator. Max it will deliver is 1.2 gpm through the cartridge.

A:  Yes but you need a special tool to do that. Check the box it came into see if the tool is there, if not Call Koehler customer service and they will send you one.
