I'm glad that they offer this model, the 4 Gallon tank and cruise control make it easier to use than the next model down. The mowing deck breathes well and doesn't appear to have any grass snags. The decks water attachment seems to work well. I'm disappointed that the deck cover for composting is an additional charge; I would use this a lot during mid season, dry conditions. The backup pedal is tricky. Overall quaity looks very good, and the "dealer" delivery was a nice touch; no setup or adjustments needed. they even filled the tank and gave me a once over on all the controls. Very professional !

The lawn mower was delivered "ready to go"! I was able to mow the lawn right away.

We had recently moved to a larger property with a very large3/4acre yard. It is very nice to be able to mow your yard and not break a sweat. I wish they had a little bit better training on how to use it and get it serviced, but overall we are very happy with this mower. It has a good cutting range, and is very safety oriented.

So far mows great. I dont have to go over my yard several times like I had to do on my older Cub Cadet. Controls are well placed. Has the power I need, plus it looks great. Makes mowing almost fun. Used the rear bagger and worked fine. I just dont have anything negative to say. Dont have any problems bagging, controls are easy to access, backup button easy to use and best of all the unit is very comfortable. That Is why I got the D120 over the D110, the seat is much more comfortable. Great Mower!

The mower so far is what I had hoped for and is what I needed.

The D120 has the automatic transmission. Top speed is achieved by holding the forward pedal all the way down. Due to sloppy linkages, the cruise control WILL NOT hold this pedal at this full speed position. The speed slows down to about 85% top speed. To put this another way, it will take about 69 minutes to do a 60 minute job. Now I'm stuck with this machine.

Just bought a JD D120 at Home Depot. It's great. Thanks "Walt" for the good advice. Now here's some more good advice. Buy the $275 3 year extended service (2 yr War. + 3 yr Ext. = 5 years) $275 for 5 years on a riding lawn mower ? Are you kidding ? BUY IT ........! I was a Manger at Sears for 7 years. These things break down and labor and parts are not cheap. Best thing about it though, is you have got a great company like HD standing behind it. The next best thing about it is PEACE. Lack of confrontation. When it goes wrong on you, just reach into your filling cabinet, pull out your folder containing all the paperwork and head for the store. Make your mower a 5 year mower service.

Smooth operating Lawn Mower with all the desired features. The reverse "RIO" switch is a bit annoying for backing up with the blade turning. The turning radius is very nice for operating around trees. I definitely recommend installing a speed knob on the steering wheel. The lawnmower leaves a nice cut and has plenty of power. I bought and installed the mulch kit for about $34 and love it after I made a few modifications to sit properly. The extra big gas tank is a welcome accessory on this mower and is much appreciated.

I find that with our acre and 1/3 property and hills and bushes, the cruise control is of no value to me. The deck washer is a good idea but I wonder if over time it will still have a build up or residue which will cause the deck wash not to be quite effective. I also wonder if I the plastic parts used for controls will become brittle over time and break or crack. Perhaps metal would have been a better choice.

The features on this mower are great. It is very easy to ride. The delivery person explained everything in detail about the mower and also the maintenance. Love it!

I Love my riding tractor.Read owners manuel and watched safety dvd. It was very easy to understand.Being a widow this means a lot to me.Tractor is very easy to operate.
