Answer This Question
A: I just bought a 120 and just so happens that I am sitting here with a pamphlet about that now. Looks like it covers 100% functional parts and labor,Mechanical defects including those due to normal wear and tear. Day one power surge protection. Has the "No lemon policy". Day 1, 30% reimbursement on select mower maintenance parts. and the day 1 pick up delivery of products $799 and above. It states that replacement coverage for products under $300 and repair coverage for products $300+ No hidden fees or deductibles.Sounds like to me after the JD warranty checks out, they pick up everything plus some other things that JD's warranty didn't. In addition to the 100% pay for functional parts and the labor it handles stuff that happens because of normal wear and tear. I am signing up for it for sure. You never know what could happen.

Q:What does PTO mean and what is the function or what does it do in preformance?

Answer This Question
A: PTO is what drives the implement on your tractor. Good PTO means good preformance.

A: PTO stands for power take off. This enables you to use the power of the engine to run accessories that did not come installed on the mower. Examples might be a snow thrower, a yard rake, or possibly even a chipper or any attachment that moves but does not have its own motor.

A: Thank you for visiting the website. The Power Take Off(PTO) is the system that engages and disengages the mower.

Q:Would a 120 or 140 be enough to plow snow?

Answer This Question
A: I would get at least the d140. I have a d120 and I used the plugger on it and you can feel it slow it down.
by|May 2, 2023
A: I don't think the D120 would be my first choice for mouting a blade and plowing, but you can get the snow thrower attachment which mounts on the front of the unit and I am sure would do a great job. throwing the snow to a more convenient location. I am considering going this route myself

A: Yes Bribow,
These John Deeres will plow snow with their blade attachment. http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100608537?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=john+deere+snow+blade&storeId=10051&N=5yc1v&R=100608537
I recommend the tire chains when you need the extra traction.

Q:Does the D120 have cruise control?

Answer This Question
A: Yes the D120 does have cruise control. Once you reach your desired speed you pull up the CC lever on the right side of the steering column and can then take your foot off the gas pedal. The problem with the D120 CC is that once you enable the cruise control, the mower actually slows down, so you must actually be going faster that you really want to before engaging the cruise control to get your desired speed.
I mowed 1/2 acre and find the CC unusable on the D120.

A: Yes the D120 has cruise control while the D110 does not.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. The D120 lawn tractor does come with cruise control.
by|May 2, 2023
A: Yes the D120 does have cruise control and the delivery team suggested that I use it because going slow for an extended period of time could cause the motor to overheat.
