The entire structural integrity of this hollow door depends on 1 hinge pin screwed into a plastic cavity shoved into a pre-drilled hole in a small chunk of extremely cheap, extremely soft MDF. Meaning ANY mild or prolonged stress on the bottom hinge corner will split the MDF block, collapse the pin and compromise the entire door. AVOID THIS DOOR it will not last. Wasted $100.

I was under the impression the height of the door was 80” but I got a 77” door instead. I was forced to add a block of wood under the door to compensate the difference in height

Do not purchase. The material from which this is made deteriorates into sawdust. One of six doors i purchased had to be returned immediately as the bottom pivot pin was caved into the door itself. Of the six I ultimately hung the same occured within one year to a door. The material is so poor it cannot sustain its own weight.

We trusted that these doors were properly built and ready for quick install so we mounted tracks and brackets, only to discover that when it was time to hang the doors, the hinges were pulling the decorative facing away from the door, some of them were mounted improperly so they were binding, and the panels were not mounted flush with each other. Found this to be true on both sets. Immediately took them down and returned them to the store. Disappointed by the quality of construction.

I have purchased one of these bifold sets in the past and had good luck with them. Jeld-Wen puts out a good product for the price, all hardware included and primed ready to paint. I would definitely purchase their products in the future.

well, well, well, had to return then after waiting 2 months! opened 1st door and big pink splotch at top about 12" by 12" and below that was a big water stain? same size....i didn't even bother to open other door of course...loaded it up and took it right back to homedepot! i'm sure it was not homedepot's fault but the vendor...oh well!

Good quality easy install

So my wife nagged me for 2 years to put doors on our closet. I picked these doors because of price and simplicity. But I could tell you that you get what you paid for. The quality is very questionable on these doors when the hinges were installed from the factory nothing seemed to be even in length or flush when the doors are closed. But they are installed and work. My wife is happy. But if your one who seeks perfection and quality these doors are not that. But if you want something that covers what you don't want guest to see then theses are the doors you want.

Looks great and easy to install.

Followed instructions and in about 5 hours, including fresh paint drying time, door was installed.. Big help was having a helper to set door in bottom bracket.

A year or so ago I purchased multiple sets of these doors to remodel my home as I had the time and the money. I went back this week to purchase two more sets to finish my home and now they want twice the price for the same product!!!

LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO INSTALL

This was a custom-cut job so I assume that's where the oversight came from. Door did not have pre-drilled hole on base for hinge. That was lame. Also no pre-drill (as indicated on instructions) for the handle/knob. Aside from that, nice door.
