It's a great door. The packaging on it is below expectations. It is delivered with 3 wooden rods nailed with long staples into the brickmold on each side of the door. This is to hold cardboard in place that protects the glass from damage during transit. The long staples are difficult to remove and it's hard not to mark up the brickmold when removing them and it leaves 24 holes in your brickmold (2 holes per staple, 2 staples per rod, 3 on each side). There are better ways to prevent the glass from breaking, this vendor needs to engineer their packaging process.

Beautiful door for the price. Unless you're looking for the plane jane apartment style generic door, this is the best looking, least expensive door I could find. Easy to install if you have a basic understanding of how things work. They have helpful videos to guide you through installation. We love our new door. it's amazing how much it has changed the look of our house. We also like the small window for safety. Our old door had a large window that you could easily break and then reach in to unlock.

This was a special order item, everything was as it should of been. It even arrived a month ahead of schedule.

Unpacked the door at job and the brickmould was not on the door

I ordered the door with brick molding. You know what they did? They sent me a brick-mold kit for it. Wow that was unhelpful. I can buy a kit for myself. What I wanted was the door to be delivered with the molding installed, as I've come to expect from other manufacturers. Jeld-Wen annoyed me with that, but that's not the 'real' problem. This new door faces East, catching the morning sun. There is no screen/storm door in front of it. A day after installing it I noticed that the hinge side face of the door was warped. It wasn't warped when I bought it. I've got a quarter-lite version. The first problem was a wavy spot on the lower right corner of the glass insert. Then the next day a series of ripples appeared in the steel face going down the hinge side of the door. Every morning when the morning sun hits the door I hear an occasional ping from the door, much like steam pipes heating up. Every evening I got the cooling pings. Thanks Jeld-Wen. Something about how this door was manufactured is off. It should be able to expand and contract in the sun without warping. Maybe the core material is off. Maybe the adhesion of the steel to the core is off. Whatever it is, I don't recommend you buy a Jeld-Wen steel door. In fact, I'm staying away from Jeld-Wen in general.

This door is a great looking door and was pretty simple to put in. Makes my house look so much better and warmer!!

I like the door's color and I'm not unhappy with it generally. The pre-hung frame was badly cracked in shipping, & the metal on the door face itself was bent, and shows wavy in sunlight. It was still utile enough where I did not return the packaging and process of shipping did not protect it.

Ordered this prehung door unit from Home Depot online because the store couldn’t get it for me. Shipped sooner than advertise.It arrived with damaged sill on the inside and the steel security plate was factory-installed at a cocked angle, so I had to redo it. I wish there was better QC at Jeld-Wen.
