This door looks great until you try and install it. This door is anything but easy. We are diy-er's with plenty of experience working with doors. This door looks great and feels great, but get ready to spend hours ripping your hair out trying to install it. NOTHING lines up correctly. Good luck!

Pros - This is a good door for the price, very solid materials and hung easily. Cons - the material used to wrap the jambs was chiped and scratched off in places, not sure if it's a baked on paint or a plastic, but it seams to come off in shipping (not a problem once installed). You'll need to sand or fill the spots before painting.

I bought 8 of these doors from my local HD store. Almost every door had mortise and hinge problems straight from the factory. Doors squeek every time i use them. I an going to try to adjust the hinges as they are not properly aligned with the screw holes. Quite a hassle. I'd return them if I hadn't spent hours spraying them. This sucks. Look very closely at the doors and hinge alignment before purchasing!!!!

IN JELD-WEN typical fashion, this door is of great quality. Due to it's uncommon size I had to order it and wait a while. The processing and shipping seemed to take longer than I thought necessary, but may have had to wait on manufacturing. The price was higher than what I thought should have been, as well, compared to other (larger) doors that I ordered. Probably due to supply and demand. However, door is installed. Installation was simple as is the case with most Jeld-Wen door. The quality is great. The finish was nice and the hardware is super as well.

Due to unusual size and the principals of supply and demand, having to order this door was no big surprise. Processing and shipping time seemed a little long, but then I wasn't in a huge hurry, so it didn't bother me much. Door is in and looks great. Should get years of use from it.

Doors seem well made with solid frame.

There were several minor defects in this door which we were able to fix. It was also not exactly square. Quality control missed this one.

This solid core is very heavy and weak jamb support. The hinges in due time will be weaken due to constant open and close. The screw will come out from the jamb due to the solid core door and will need a longer screw drill through the jamb door and into the stud. But will be weaken slight in due time. Recommend going for a different manufacturer like Masonite solid core door which I used with default hinges and screw with no issue.

The door is well made, pure solid door, but the casing is not solid so attaching the solid core door to the hinges make the door alignment very difficult and the screw will come out easily making the door no longer align so I have to use a longer 2 inch wood screw to fasten the door to the stud. I would caution next buyer to purchase wisely due to the fact the door is very heavy.

i thought this would be easier to install. as it is, we still haven't gotten it set up yet. i guess we are going to have to call someone. does home depot install their stuff? for a fee even?

I ordered 3 doors back in may, and after 3 weeks they said it is ready for pickup. I scheduled a delivery and they got 2 of the doors wrong (got slabs instead of prehung). I cancelled the order and placed again, and this time they got the wrong size (28 instead of 30). I asked the guys in the home depot place the order again, and I'm still waiting for my order. Hopefully they don't screw up this time. It is already more than 3 months I have spent in this whole ordeal. and all the time wasted .. As for the door itself, I liked the door, but the frame is very filmsy. I installed on of the doors and it was not straight. There is a gap at the top because frame bends. Door looks great, but the paint job on the frame is not good. It looks like it is painted poorly. If the frame was good, then this would be a solid 4 star. If they have better shipping times and less of messup it would be 5 stars.

I haven't installed this door as of yet but I have installed 9 other ones same style and brand. I am well pleased with them.

The door is very solid and built well, the attached frame is very thin and flimsy. The door was ordered online and shipped to the store for pickup. The door had one bad scuff spot on the pre-painted door. I am guessing this is a common problem, a small amount of touch up paint and a sponge brush was included with the shipment.
