We purchased six gallons of this product. After one month, the pool color is light blue and there are peeling spots scattered across the area. The customer service told us they spoke to our pool guy but never did. The company that makes it cannot advocate their own product and obviously could not answer my question as to why this is occurring. Very Disappointing.

It is rubberized paint and not easy to spread but it works and looks great. We mixed black paint with white paint and the color came out a very pretty blue like color.

Only lasted 2 years. This is the RP2700, it's replacing the CR2600 Chlorinated rubber in some parts of the country. It’s not as durable as the chlorinated rubber version.

Easy to apply. Caution, the colors are not as stated. Royal blue is just blue, not dark. Aquamarine is green, not aquamarine. Camera picks up the blue in aquamarine, but not by your eye. Picture looks aquamarine. Product is easy to apply. Not easy to apply as a mural. Just put paint on. Don't know about durability yet.

Good coverage. Easy to roll or brush on. Coverage is as stated on can.

Forms a dense coating, although coverage is less than suggested on can. Thins well w/ Xylene.

The product is very good for pool paint, the only problem is it don't cover the Square Footage that's listed on the container, If I remember correctly it suppose to cover 300 sq ft', no, only 150. I used a 3/8" an a 1/4" roller. Other than that, its a very good product. I like it!

This product was amazing. You must pay attention to directions and go light. If you try to put it on thicker, you will have problems. I absolutely am very pleased with the product.

This is the second time in three years that we have used this product. Both times the paint has peeled from the surface. We thought we would give it another chance. The paint started peeling one week after the pool was filled, and that was after letting it dry for a week. I would not recommend this product. Of course with having a cement pool, we are very limited in the products we can use.

This product is GREAT, had a leak in the foundation in the basement. This product is thick but spreads very easily and goes a lot further then you would expect. This product is made for pools , but I used it indoors and the vapors are pretty strong. I suggest you have plenty of ventilation if you decide to use indoors as I did. After paint dried odor dissipated . This paint is a little pricey, but it worked so who cares !!!!!!!!

Paint arrived so well packaged and sealed! Some other reviews I read told horror stories of paint leaking in the box, that was not the case here. In the end, I ordered a little too much, I simply returned the unused gallon (1 of 8) to Home Depot, and received a no hassle refund. Pool looks and feels great!

INSL-X is supposed to be a quality product, this is the same brand Benjamin Moore Stores carry. I have a 20 x 40 pool and several websites estimated 8 gallons for 2 coats. I bought 12 and used 11. I did two good coats and followed the manufactures recommendations extremely well on surface prep and painting. I even called them to confirm drying time of 7+ days. So the pool is now black and it looked amazing for a few hours, now it looks like it needed a third coat. It looks splotchy and kind of dark blue, like its fading in the first few days. Also Beware, I sprinkled in some shock and it left big whites stains everywhere it touched this paint.... It really bummed me out after all that work to find out that this paint cant touch chlorine without leaving very visible stains.

I purchased 4 gallons of paint, had Home Depot shake it and applied it to my pool. We ran out with a 10 x 10 spot and the steps still to go. I ordered the exact same paint, same store, had Home Depot shake it and applied it. We waited the full specified drying time only to find the paint does not match!!! We have all receipts and are heading to Home Depot to ask for a refund.

Fast shipping. Excellent for gunite pools. I use this paint to paint my pool every 3-4 years. Apply when temps are between 65-75 degrees, otherwise, paint thickens. Would not recommend mixing more than one gallon at a time unless you use a sprayer. Great coverage and adherence.

Great pool paint the exceeds expectations. Make sure it's rubberized.Great color selection .My choice was Ocean blue which looks fantastic.

went on smoothly. dried quickly (within 30 minutes). beautiful color. Am now waiting the 7-10 days before filling fountain with water...

This stuff is garbage. I followed directions EXACTLY, even power sprayed the raw concrete first to make sure adhesion would be good. Did two coats as advised, within the six-hour deadline. After drying for a week, I filled the pool. Within two days it was bubbling and the top coat was peeling off in big sheets. I will be stopping payment on the credit card and now I have to empty the pool again, remove this garbage and use a better product.

Paint arrived so separated that it was almost impossible to stir it back together. Any paint I buy off the shelf at Home Depot, I have them shake it first. They should do the same before shipping from the warehouse. I have a mixing paddle and could just barely stir it but it would be impossible with a wooden paint stick. Even though it is listed as "Low VOC" it is extremely smelly. I used it on galvanized paint because one person answered a question that it could. Even with proper surface preparation, it did not stick below the waterline and quickly blistered. I'm sure for other pool types it would be a good paint. Just plan on taking it to Home Depot for a good shake!

I wish that I could have bought this paint in the store so I wouldn't have to wait for it to be shipped to me. Also, if I could have purchased it in the store then I could have had it shaken. Overall they did a good job on my swimming pool.
