A: Cindi, I would not recommend this for your basement walls. I own rental property and have a construction business. We use a product called Drylok. It is specifically for this purpose. Rubberized pool paint is designed to withstand chlorine so that the paint doesn't peel off the concrete pool walls in a few months. It isn't designed to be used as a waterproofing material on foundation walls.
