The installation was straight forward, I can see some people having issues removing the clear flap as I did, but overall I’m happy with the doors.

The locks don't work. Very flap is very flimsy. My cats can push it open.

Litterboxes were in the utility room and I wanted to be able to close the door to eliminate noise from laundry machines. This proved to be the perfect solution...directions were clear and took about 45 minutes to complete the entire project, from removing the door from its hinges to re-installing with the pet door. I installed this on a 6-panel interior door and it required some careful placement to ensure that the corners were not placed over a recessed area. On a slab door this would not be needed.

The lock is a dial with nubby teeth to catch indents in the flap. I've had it for a year and a half, and the dial is worn out. In addition, the dial being in the bottom of the frame means that my one cat has a tendency to step on it as he goes thru and knock it into the out-only position. It spins too freely and has no way to really lock it in place, meaning that a clever cat can learn to bat the dial lol. I'm replacing this with a door with tab style locks

I mistakenly thought, since this turned up in a search for "storm door pet doors" that it was only as deep as the storm door. Wrong! My contractor was able to jury rig it, fortunately. Also, the magnet does a good job of hiding the flap closed, but the extra push needed to go through intimidated my cat for several weeks.

This was a great value. Economical and easy to install. It is working great.

I think this would have been a great door but was larger that I wanted for my door. It did provide the measurements and I should have looked at the ruler. But good quality

Easy to install and it works great. The screws and glue hold it in place. The door opens when my pet goes through, but then closes to keep the heat out and the cold air in.

Study, easy to install. Do wish it had a better locking system.
