It seemed like a great idea, it folds flat for storage. In use it also opens beyond 90 degrees, which reduces accuracy. You have to check repeatedly to ensure that it is flush on the post.

This level is easy to use and it is accurate. Its a great item. I am very pleased with it.

The Multiposition Post level worked really well with the elastic strap to hold in place. If was fast and easy to use. L shape works great to stand up the level to use in a multitude of other projects.

Superior to the Empire model. This unit has an elastic strap vs rubber band and folds to conform to the post/pole.

Not reliable due to hinging mechanism. Get the solid one. Not this hinging one! It easily flexes and you lose your proper level.

The quality and value of the product was not an issue, it's just that after using this I realized that the hinge actually makes the unit less reliable. What I found was the hinge on this unit often allows for misalignment and it is harder to determine if your post is level. I ended up going back to the rigid post level that I had and found that design to be more true than this model. Although the magnet and design are a great addition, I would recommend that the manufacturer lose the hinge and make a rigid version of the same sort..

It's not the most sturdy built tool I've ever purchased but it works well. I wish it folded up a little better, it takes up a lot of room in my tool box for the amount of use I actually get out of it.

The level does what is supposed to do, that is to indicate when the pole I leveled . The strap that comes with it is of a adequate but yet somewhat flimsy material, just make sure to clean it and put it away after each use. Otherwise, this tool is well made and sturdy.

Got these over the cheaper option. Hindsight, for the few bucks it would have saved I would have gone with the others, especially since they were really a one time use with a fence build. However, this is a great product and worked perfectly.

Save your money. Looked like a good idea but didn't work well.

This post level broke in half during the first use on the third post of a very big job. Made of cheap plastic. I have puchased several Husky Brand tools with mostly good luck however this level was a piece of garbage. I don't know if I can even get my money back, no idea where the receipt is. Make one from aluminum and I would try it out.

Cheap and useless product...much better to use a regular metal level.

As another reviewer mentioned, the hinge design means that it needs to be constantly adjusted to ensure that it is sitting flush on both sides of a square fence post. Going back to buy the less expensive but better working model that everyone is familiar with.

I've used one for over a year on various tasks from 4x4 posts to Metal Pipes. Found that the magnets are really weak. Product does take a little adjusting from time-to-time on posts. My one drawback is the longevity of the elastic strap. Mine only lasted a short time before the elastic wore out & it didn't hold any longer. I would not suggest for industrial or commercial use. Ok for DIY home guy like myself. If they found a better strap & stronger magnets, it would be a far better, 5-star product. Good idea, poor execution.

I used this for leveling 6x6 posts. The included elastic band would not fit around a post of this size so I had to use a large rubber band. These are adjustable to level other things like pipes, but unfortunately, when attached to square posts, the hinge moves so they need constant re-adjustment. You can't tighten the rubber band or else the hinge opens, and it won't sit correctly. Too loose, and it doesn't sit correctly either. I was able to get by with these, but it would have been much easier with a rigid, less-expensive product.

I install a lot of sign poles. I've had this level for over a year and now need another due to loss. I've had several different people working with me, they all love this level. It is quick and accurate. Highly recommend for post or pole work.

Must have for the do it yourself fence builder! Makes setting posts a one man job!
