Works well and is quite helpful in keeping my very damp basement at an acceptable level of humidity.

Excellent product... works as they say...no more smell in basement.. Have pump on and humidity level set .... works perfectly...self regulates keeping humidity at 55 as suggested... I have tried each of there settings to ensure they do what the say... yup! Works like a charm... The 4 instead of 5 is due to not clear instructions... I recommend this to anyone who wants to set and leave it...

The port on the back is too narrow to allow water to flow out and not down into the tank. Contacted manufacturer and they said to prop it up two inches in the front to get it to the drain. This caused the fins in the back to freeze. Not a good unit.

Did this meet my expectations? Well I guess it would have if I only expected it to last a month. I’m guessing it was the compressor that went. Fortunately Home Depot has a 90 day return policy. I have reordered and will give Honeywell one more try. Hey you never know I just might get one that works.

I have been using this dehumidifier for a couple weeks now and it has removed a lot of water from my basement. It is very easy to use and has kept the humidity level much lower. I am pleased with this unit.

It constantly freezes up and stops. Instructions say if the machine freezes need a larger capacity. This machine supposedly covers 3000 square feet. My whole house is not 3000 square feet. Not a good product.

After a year, the part on the back connecting the continuous drain tubing to the dehumidifier broke due to it being a small, cheap piece of plastic. There are no repacement parts to buy, and after months of trying to contact Honeywell customer service, they replaced it despite my not having the orginal receipt from over a year previous. Once I replaced it, the dehumidifier was finally back in service. Now, however, I keep getting E5 error messages (which are not listed in the manual and i had to google it), and apparently somethung is wrongnwith the pump sensor. Will be looking for a dehumidifer from another manufacturer, esecially with the cost of the Honeywell and all the issues of this one.

It’s too noisy when running

This dehumidifier is easy to use and move around. It definitely does the job. I had it and used it for one night. 

Set the moisture level but after running for weeks it never achieves it. The unit size is correct for the square footage of the space but is not capable to take moisture out of the air any faster.

Nice system. A little confusing to operate, especially in continuous mode.

Unit is very easy to use. It is very effective at bringing humidity down to around 50%. However, it struggles to bring it, sustained, into the 40s. Not a big deal but on/off operates to a fairly wide range so difficult to manage in less than 5% increments. Different equipment would have to be considered if either factor is an issue.

The Dehumififier works better than any other brands we have used in the past. I would have given 5 stars if this one was not the third replacement in 2 years.

I ended up returning this item because i hooked the hose up to drain it and it didn't drain.

This is one great dehumidifier! I've had it now for five months running at a 40% setting, and it is going strong. At that setting it gets my humidity in the mid to upper 30% range The pump works just fine and keeps the dehumidifier running without my attention. When the five month humid season was over, I just easily cleaned out the water container. All my other other brand dehumidifiers would have died at this point. They all did. Not this one! Honeywell knows how to build a great dehumidifier! I bought it new from Home Depot to obtain Honeywell's five year warranty to protect me from expensive repair or failure. No need to buy a seller's expensive product insurance. If you purchase from an unauthorized seller, you won't get Honeywell's warranty. Room dehumidifiers have an extremely high failure rate after one season's use. Get Honeywell and save yourself aggravation. Highly recommend!
