Flooring was installed in below-grade family room and very happy with the results. The bamboo veneer appears to be very hard and the look and color of the wood are very nice. My dachshund has run and skidded around the floor with no visible scratching. I put floor sliders and/or felt on my furniture and have had no issues. I used the Microban Airflow underlayment and it seems to provide a nice solid feel to the floor. Overall, highly recommend this flooring.

This laminate flooring has a micro thin layer of bamboo laminated to a thicker layer of pressed paper which is laminated to a thin layer of cheap wood veneer on the back side. Installed floating on cork barrier. The boards are all curling up on edges. Some are separating at interlocking edges. Will be replacing with either tile or solid bamboo. When walking on it, it smacks. Whatever you do, don't install it as a floating floor. Better yet, buy solid bamboo for the same price somewhere else.

Poor delivery several pieces where broken .. I feel this was ups fault . I had to pay in advance for new to get it down in time . Took 2 weeks to get reimbursed for damaged product . If you have it truck delivered for extra you will be much happier . Customer service poor . The five stars are for the amazing product and floor. Just gorgeous!! Love my new floor and easy to clean!! So happy with it !!! You won't be disappointed at all in the floor itself ! Also , very tough! No dogs toenail scratches totally durable !

I recommend this bamboo flooring but suggest strongly that each box be carefully inspected either at the store or immediately upon arrival. Several boards in each of my boxes had damage on both ends as if handled roughly after production and couldn't be used - nearly 20 percent! The product itself was fine and looks great, and fortunately we had over ordered so had just enough for the project.

This is a gorgeous modern floor with a slight rustic vintage touch! A perfect mix for all taste! Loved it so much after installed decided to do our Masterbedroom also. You can install it your self if your a handyman. You won't be disappointed! Delivery was quick and no damaged pieces!! You can't go wrong with this floor !

I put this flooring in my the office and yoga room for a business I started. So it was a big decision for my first business. We have been in for 5 weeks and there are scratches EVERYWHERE. I have bamboo floors from lowes in my house and they are great condition after 2 years. It devastating that they floors are so horrible, I have no idea what we are going to do.

We have had this in the house installed for since 12/20. Today is 1/4 and the boards have expanded do much that they are warping up. Directions say to acclimate 72 hours but we had them acclimate out of the boxes for almost a week ahead of installing. They are beautiful but I'm not sure how we will fix this. Be sure to wait a long time before installing with them out of the boxes. Calling Home Depot tomorrow for advice and hopefully resolution. Can't recommend unless this gets fixed.

I did not install the floor myself, but had it done professionally. It came out very good.

The two orders came in damaged. Our expert then told us that it could not be installed over radiant heat. The product should be labeled accordingly, and Home Depot sales reps should know this!!

Wonderful flooring so easy to install. Very durable and looks great.

The flooring was easy to cut and trim, so installation was very easy. We like it so much we have ordered more for additional rooms.

Highly recommend this flooring. Just had a contractor install it and it looks beautiful! We put underlayment underneath first and nailed a few pieces of flooring down after that. I did tons of research and was debating what kind of flooring to buy for my second floor bedrooms and very happy with this decision!

I also purchased a similar product from HD --Home Decorators Collection Strand Woven Harvest 3/8 in. Thick x 4.92 in. Wide x 36-1/4 in. Length Solid Bamboo Flooring-- and that is also excellent. I like this better though. It is a bit wider and longer so less seams and less movement when you step on the finished floor, plus this product has a slightly less shiny finish. Overall, they're both the best thing I've found after searching everywhere almost regardless of price.

We just finished installing 1200 sqft of this product in our home and couldn't be happier. I'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from because it's exactly like the store samples we looked at. We did purchase in store locally and had to go to two different stores to get the quantity we needed. There is a lot of color variation but that is one of the things we love about it. Wish I could post pics! Desiree after we finished to do the stairs and am heading back to HD today for the stair nose!

The pic online is of smooth finish harvest floor if you pay attention to product number HL270H it is distressed finish. never order flooring online with out seeing it in person at your local store when you do order online do not go by pictures make sure your sample number viewed at store matches product # ordered and you will receive correct product. You can also get help in store to locate product online and verify it is in stock. With so many flooring options with similar names and look this will help a lot! Do not special order if you change your mind you will be subject to restock fee. Hopefully Home depot corrects picture for those that cant read before spending $1000 plus on a product. This flooring is real wood finish and priced the same or less to upper line laminates that will always look plastic and fake.

Flooring boards did have a "distressed" look upon arrival. Went back to the store with a plank in hand to compare. If you look closely at the store samples, they too have the same random "pitted" appearance. We did not notice this at first either, as the store samples are quite small and do not give you the full perspective of the planks. Other bamboo flooring had "smoother" finishes, but this one does not. Decided to install it anyways and very glad we did. Looks great, feels great and was easy to install- from two people who had never done it!

I ordered this online and the delivery was quick. Product was better than expected.

Nice flooring, great price. Color, medium, can go with light furniture or dark.

After reading the review, I ordered only one box as a test, The planks were damaged or "distressed" even though that is not the style described here. There is either a serious manufacturing problem or there is a persistent error in this listing or inventory number. I loved the flooring described here, but I can't seem to purchase that same thing again.

We order this September 27th 2014, the shipping has some kind of error on the companies end and it never was sent. So, I had to get on live chat and take care of it. It arrived and the flooring is not smooth has pits. Now my husband and I have to go through all 21 cases and see if they are all the same and return them. We may just end up taking it all back and getting a full refund. Home Depot needs to discontinue this terrible product. Do not buy or you will have a headaches as we are having.

Expeditious shipping. Ordered 18 cartons on a Monday, arrived Friday. Saw the other review and decided to inspect a couple cartons. SAME THING. Not a smooth finish. This matched the Antique/distressed display of the same color at Home Depot. Something is wrong at the manufacturer. I have installed the same Harvest click lock bamboo SMOOTH, but 36" lengths, in my family room a year ago, and it is completely SMOOTH, no marks, indents, scratches.

Ordered online and recieved the product in 10 days. Took it home and each piece had several indentations that almost made it look like a distressed finish. Took it back to Home Depot and flooring staff said it is defective as it should be a smooth finish. Called Home Legend and sent pictures which they responded, "sometimes this happens to strand products." They had no answer when I asked why the other instock product in the same finish did not have it. Returned to Home Depot without issues. However, over two weeks went by and delayed my installation without any apology from Home Legend or Home Depot Management.
