Bought this fan and installed.. Issues: - wires are long enough for an extension, but safety cable is too short to feed through the longer rod.. - machine screws to mount mounting bracke to electrical box are wrong size to fit box - for some strange reason, the reverse option for fan is located on top of fan Instead of on remote

This is an excellent fan! It is quiet, great looking, steady and creates great air flow. The only criticism I have is the light. Although the light is plenty bright and can be dimmed, it is more of a spot light.

Hi - The fan is great, LED light is not. The lighting it puts off is harsh and even flickery. So, I went to replace the bulb and find out that it's not possible; the whole lamp portion is one fixture with a horrible LED light. It's literally difficult to see at night with the light on (not because of brightness, because of the light frequency). So - if you want a light that won't char your soul, look elsewhere.

Great fan. The light dims from very bright to mood lighting which is nice. We bought two for our house.

Fan aesthetically is nice. The light is sufficiently bright enough for our living room. Installation was where it goes downhill. There isn't enough space in the mount or the nickel cover for the remote receiver no matter how you arrange the wires, so the receiver is left dangling outside which isn't attractive at all. I have two individual switches on the wall to control both the fan and light separately, but they only run off one switch. Far from meeting my expectations.

This fan LOOKS fabulous but moves almost NO air. I really needed a good fan, as my house has very little cross ventilation and thought this would look so good in my living room. And it Does look great, but pretty useless unless sitting right under it. So disappointed! Returning the other one I bought to put at the other end of the room!

Bought 3 of these and had them shipped to the store for pickup. All 3 have the same design flaw. They tick or make noise at the cap that attaches to the hanging bracket to the ceiling. The only way to fix the noise issue was to add a small strip of window foam to the inside of the cap on the edge so when you screw it tight to the ceiling it stops the ticking noise. The design of that cap is beyond awful, there are 2 tiny screws that are absolutely brutal to thread. I replaced all my 20 year old and outdated Casablanca pull chain fans with these. Kind of wish now I didn't. Also I have installed ceiling fans for years, not a install issue, all brackets and blades tight. Installed 2 others in the home from same manufacture but different models and those work perfect but also were more expensive. You get what you pay for, good fans, lousy mounting system.

The fan itself is awesome. Great build quality and super quiet. The support by Home Depot in the event of something going wrong with the unit is beyond poor and just frustrating.Work directly with Manufacturer if something goes wrong. HD is very unhelpful.

The fan is quite handsome and works really well. The only negative I have to mention is that it should be more apparent that you must purchase an additional device in order to connect to amazon echo/google home.

Very strong fan with an extremely bright light

This fan is very attractive. We needed to purchase a longer extension and are so impressed with the easy installation and that there is no wiggle whatsoever, even with 18” drop.

I like the looks of the fans simple design but the fans themselves leave a little to be desired. I have installed many fans in my time and these were to replace two that I had hanging for years that were working perfectly. Installation was easy and I have installed many. Currently have 9 ceiling fans in my home. Very difficult to get these fans balance. Ordered two. One could get it close. The other was impossible. Fan blades were warped and contributed to out of control wobble at high speed. I have balanced many fans and I know what I am doing. Switch for changing rotation is very inconvenient requiring you to bring a high ladder in to move the switch position. On top of that, home depot had no more in stock anywhere so I may end up sending both fans back as I want a matched set in my living area.

We noticed that the fan and light turns on automatically.

This product looks great in a room that had high ceiling and we had to hang at an angle. The only problem was that the remote wasn't in the box. There is a number you can call and receive the remote or replacements, however, the remote came WITHOUT a battery. If the remote had come with in the box you'd have a remote. weird, but other than that it's a great fan, just make sure the remote is there before you leave the store. I ordered light fixtures for an entire house via homedepot.com so I couldn't check beforehand.

Great looking and a breeze to install

The online pictures don't do this fan justice. It is a beautiful piece. It's very stylish and changed the look of the room completely, not to mention the added comfort it gives. It has an LED bulb, that is very energy conserving and lasts a long time too. The remote is very handy, I don't even have to get up to turn it on or off. It's easy enough to mount and assemble. The instruction were clear and easy to follow. It's a smooth running, quite fan that will change your room. I wish I'd gotten this one years ago.

As our home's collection (6) of ceiling fans are from another era (with fluted Victorian age or hip 70's brass revival look 3 and 4 light octopus fixtures) most of rooms are begging for a fan update. The 54" Renwick model was an excellent start for us. My wife wanted to try a wireless control model in the dining room that would be large enough for a 12x15 room as well as eliminate the need to stand on a chair to yank on the pull chain to adjust the fan speed. The contemporary look of the hardware and the low/no profile LED light compliment our newly renovated downstairs decor. The installation was almost painless - read the entire instructions and visualize the install steps before you start and you will keep the frustration level to a minimum (this being said I still utilized a few of my go-to off-color descriptives before the job was completed). As usual plan on tired arms and a couple of prerequisite head bonks as you finish installing the blades. The whole thing took 45 minutes including gathering the necessary ladder and tools along with the cleanup. Final thoughts. The stain color of the fan blades is not a favorite but I'll get over it. Now that everything is up and running the remote situation is going to take a little getting used to (where did I leave it the last time I used it?) but all in all its pretty nice. I'd say the single LED fixture puts out about the same light as a bright single 75 watt incandescent bulb but it throws most of the light downward so its definitely not an equal replacement for a three light 60 watt fan fixture. The light doesn't dim down to completely off but at its low setting it is close to perfect for evening dining with candles and a little mood thrown in.

We have only had the fan installed for about 2 months. I checked yes that I would recommend this fan. It runs great gives off great airflow, very nice looking and I believe will transition with time however, we are having a problem with the remote control. The remote control is no longer transmitting a signal to the fan. We had the fan on Med without the light on. How we cannot make any changes to the setting because the remote will not transmit. I will try and contact the manufacture about this problem and see what happens before I take it down and back to Home depot.

Not a great fan. First, installation takes forever, upwards of an hour or more, and we purchased FOUR of these fans! We may end up returning some of them. Second, even on the lowest fan speed, it spins too fast for comfortable sleep; other fans spin very slowly on their lowest setting and we were expecting the same with this one. Third, the screws for the remote control holder are very small and flimsy, as is the holder itself; not likely to last long. Last, we have two switches on the wall, one for the fan, and one for the light. There was no guidance on how to wire this set up, nor was the 800# of any use; we were told to call back between Monday and Friday! Overall, a frustrating purchase which we would not likely repeat.

Beautiful product, well made, and quiet operation. Moves a lot of air. I highly recommend this fan.
