We purchased this laminate flooring a week ago and once I got started it was easy to put down. I'm a 73 year old woman and the only problem was my knees hurt during application . I don't know how it will wear yet, but it doesn't seem to scratch easily. I will purchase flooring for one of my other rooms after paying for this.

This evaluation is based on initial installation. Long term wear and resistance to water spills is unknown at this point. I would recommend but with reservations. Finished product looked good and price was O.K. The foam backing was a work saver and added to the finished quality, cost and feel (comfort) of the floor. The individual planks contributes the appearance of real hardwood. Although one can tell via sound that it is a floating floor. At half the price of hard wood, I'm not sure it is a long term value. The only issue was seating the planks. The finished fit was very good but required a lot of tapping into place. the core of the product appeared to be a "press paper". Anything other than a LIGHT tap to seat the planks would damage the core/plank. One must cut and utilize many tapping blocks, out of the same material, over the course of the installation.

Recently transformed a run-down rental property with the Natural Palm laminate flooring. Great looking floor, but not yet tenant tested.

Home Depot handled everything, from room measurement to installation. The whole process went without a hitch. MB looks great with new flooring.

My husband and I purchased our first home 3 years ago and knew we would be making some changes since the house is almost 30 years old. We agreed on going with laminate Hampton Bay Perry Hickory because of its high gloss and durability. We have completed our entire downstairs with this product and couldn't be more please. It's easy to clean, plain water and a bluffing cloth, and we get tons of compliments from our friends and family. Best of all, we installed it ourselves!

I purchased this floor to match an existing wood floor in my kitchen. It matched perfectly. I've received rave reviews on my floors. I have this floor throughout the house except my bathrooms and kitchen. Love it!

I've had the Perry Hickory design / color laminate flooring in other rooms in my house for about 2 years and it has held up very well, so I decided on this same brand but different design / color for another room. I'm very pleased with the ease of installation, appearance and quality considering the price. The high gloss shows dust / stains but it cleans easily and is very scratch / damage resistant.

Incredible shine!!! Looks expensive! Had it installed by Home Depot and they did a wonderful job. The flooring made everything look new again! It was a wonderful addition for the holidays & easy to clean!

I LOVE this product. So far I have used it in my living room and dining room and one long hallway. This is in a 52 year old home that I am remodeling 100% top to bottom, including 22 non-leaking skylights, and new doors, kitchen, bathrooms, 33 new windows, hardware, LED lighting, etc. etc. -- EVERYTHING. While I always look for good value, I do not want to compromise on the quality of the end result. In that context -- of a demanding home owner requiring a sensational end result-- I can say that the Perry Hickory produces a simply AWESOME end result. The "Mrs." is no less demanding and she gives this floor her blessing as well. Why do I like it? Well, the reddish-brown color is exceeding RICH, and the edges of each plank are well-defined, and I now know that I like that particular "individual board" look. My installer has done about 30 previous laminate floors and said that the installation was "a little" challenging (to get each and every board "locked" flat in place). I watched him and I saw it could NOT have been MUCH of a big deal. Thus on Appearance I would gave this product a 10 star rating on a five star system. Ease of Installation a 4 star. Quality: I give it 5 stars, but that might be something determined only after some years of use, which I don't have yet. Value, I give 5 stars. Previously, in three rooms I had used both the "Sunset Acacia" color and the Vineyard Cherry color Harmonics brand from Costco. Both were (discounted on sale about 25%) slightly cheaper (about 50 cents p.s.f.) than the Perry Hickory. Those were installed first. I now greatly regret now not using the Perry Hickory for those three rooms. BIG MISTAKE. The end result was much less attractive. And I am shortly going to be remodeling my other home in Hawaii and will be using the Perry Hickory for many rooms in that remodeling project. I am very happy with this product.

This flooring turned out beautiful as you can see. It was very easy to install. Just wish it was a little thicker and locked together a little tighter. But a pretty good deal for $1.88 sq ft.

I had Home Depot installed this floor for $497.00 for 995 square feet . I rip and hauled my carpet . The floor look great .

Although I didn't install this myself, I was told it was not difficult. I love this flooring so much. I had been living with ratty carpet for years, and wish I'd done this sooner. We have only done the living room so far, but like it so much, I am going to continue into the kitchen and sunroom downstairs, and all bedrooms and hallway upstairs. Some people had commented about the high gloss being undesirable; I find it absolutely beautiful, and it just needs swiffering to keep it clean. One note: I thought padding would not be needed underneath, but the manufacturer will not honor the warranty if it is not used.

Great shine to this laminate, very upscale looking. Only problem is a few boards have the laminate peeling off a little. Easy to clean and maintain.

I could not wait to write this review!! I am re-doing the main floor, stairs, minus bathroom and kitchen. The Alexander High Gloss Oak floor is a fantastic floor. The floor is holding up very well underneath a underlayment from Lumber Liquidators called Bella Wood. No squeaks, absolutely beautiful flooring, and not cold to our feet. Looking forward of years of enjoying the new floor!

This product was ordered online so pallet would be from same batch. No issues with shipping, picked item up from store so I could check for damage. Install went well with no waste other than my miscalculations. I ordered extra 5% for waste on the end cuts and had enough (Barely). I staggered the joints three places. Entire floor including trim work took about 2 full days. Can not attest to the wear and tear value yet as it was just installed. It comes with a padding attached, I was glad we got this as it seems to cut down on noise when walking on it. Overall, I am impressed at the value for the price. One last thing, the sample piece in the store does not show the actual joint locking tabs this comes with so be expecting that when you order. I have attached a before and after.

I bought this floor based on the amount of great reviews. I originally wanted something very dark "Brazilian Cherry" or "Dark Mahogany" with a high shine gloss finish. After reading too many reviews to count; I realized that dark floors showed too many scratches and smudges. So I started sorting the floors by the number of reviews, and the number of stars a floor had and found the Perry Hickory from Hampton Bay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I have had it installed in my home for 4 months, and have had 2 parties at my home and still there are no scratches, and it never looks dirty. I clean it with a swiffer every other day and a steam mop (even though the instructions do not recommended the steam mop) I use it about once every two weeks. I had it installed by Home Depot and the guy they sent was great. It took him 6 days and he worked non-stop moving furniture (I paid for this), installing floors, and going up and down the stairs to cut all of the laminate outside. The money I paid was well worth it (this was back-breaking work). In conclusion: If you are going to buy laminate I would definitely recommend this one.

I purchased 225 square feet to do a kitchen it was easy to install and I was very pleased at the overall look and feel of the productthe kitchen turned out beautifully and everyone who sees it really likes it

This is a TERRIBLE product that did not even last 1 year in our home. Our previous laminate floor (pergo) lasted over 10 years, and the only reason that we replaced it was that we were tired of looking at it. It was in great shape and we repurposed it into the basement. This product has a BAD DESIGN FLAW. There is a recessed line at the seams that makes it look like these are real boards. This recessed line exposes the particleboard under the finish to any moisture that is applied to the floor (like a damp mop). The fiberboard will swell where the waterproofing was not adequately applied, and the boards swell, causing very noticeable distortion in the high gloss surface over it. We were extremely careful with this floor and even then, there were at least 20 boards that had very noticeable surface "pops" after a few months. The entire floor will need to be replaced. Additionally, the high gloss surface is very hard to clean. Stay away from this product. It looks great on the day it is installed, but will not last. The defect is hard to photograph, but look at the pictures along the board edges, particularly where the light strikes it

It was an easy install, I am just too old to be working on my knees. I started with a rubber mallet, but a real hammer worked much better. The finished product looks GREAT and we are happy.

Can't believe how much it transformed my LR/DR by going with laminate instead of replacing carpeting with another. Recently installed it in my kitchen too.

This floor has a gorgeous exotic look and the price is great. There is an attached underlayment which helps keep the cost down and still provide the insulation you need. The high gloss is definitely part of the appeal of this floor, but dust will always be an issue. It's an acceptable trade-off for me because it is so beautiful. The contracted installers did a very good job and finished three rooms (400 sq ft) in 4.5 hours. My only complaint is the way the local Home Depot handled our order. Much incompetence and time wasted. Five weeks from start to finish. However, corporate Home Depot has been great to work with and very supportive.

This floor looks amazing! I am extremely satisfied. I am not sure about the ease of installation because we had a contractor install it. It does require constant dusting if you have high traffic or maybe I am just a neat freak. :)

Easy to do (once you get the hang of it) looks great. I brought all the tools lever cutter, under door frame cutter nail gun (cove base boarders) I guess I could do the whole house... removing old carpet is not fun.

I thought installing laminated flooring was going to be very difficult to do. after reading the instructions, I found installing the flooring very easy to do. I would really like the thank Home Depot for helping with this project and for assisting with the browny points I earned with my wife. She loves her new floor. I would most definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. As a matter of fact, I already have.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing this and purchased based on the reviews and the sample I saw in the store. I absolutely love the look of this flooring. I rated it average on ease of installation because it does take a special tool to get the planks to snap together correctly, however, my Installer said that is a very good thing as it will never come apart. My Installer is a general Contractor who installs lots of flooring and was very impressed with this. I installed this in all rooms in the house but the bedrooms - 900 square feet. The price was great and everyone thinks it is hardwood, not laminate. Lots of variation in the colors. Definitely recommend this flooring to those wishing for a higher end look. Just the right shade between light and dark as I have lighter cabinets in the kitchen but all cherry furniture.

I absolutely love my floors after a long search I chose Alexander High Gloss Oak the piano finish is gorgeous but I have a German Shepherd and she left her prints!! I used Quick Shine Cleaner and no more prints! Now the in home sample pic is nothing like the actual wood its more like carmel and darker carmel in the evening or low light it appears mahogany which I love!! We had it installed and Brad was excellent and did a very professional 2 day job we laid 600 sq ft did the prep work ourselves and saved $1000 in all which included purchasing online! I highly recommended this floor it feels smooth under foot not one scratch! Absolutely love it!!

Home Depot was great to work with! We had a problem with a floor we had chosen and were not happy with, they replaced and went the extra mile with great service!!!! Will do all my home projects with them!!!!!
