I will start by saying that the floors are beautiful BUT i'm not sure how durable they are. I had them installed by Home Depot and the entire process after you pay your money is real cloudy and in my case unpleasant. I've had the floors TWO WEEK and this is what I found this morning a hole in my floor. I'm not sure what caused this as I don't live alone but there is nothing broken in my house and we currently have no furniture because we got rid of everything to have the floors installed. I've had to make 3 calls (installer, HD CS & store where purchase was made) only to be told that the person that can help me is on vacation. In my mind these floors aren't durable. Another reason that I say this is that I have 2 boxes of damaged planks in my car that I now need to take to the store across town because my neighborhood store will not return it. I will go back to the fact that the floors are beautiful but I can not be content with the fact that if something hits the floor it could potentially damage it. A scratch or a ding maybe but a hole in the floor seems to be a product issue. Hoping that this can be resolved and that someone has time to hear how your processes are broke.

With 2 of 3 rooms covered, I am very happy with this product. My grandson and a friend have done most of the work. Luckily my future SIL was here early on too, cause they started out wrong and he was able to get them on the right track. The product looks great! We've had minimum problems. Each bedroom has been laid in a day. In fact this one needed a piece of sub flooring replaced, which required a trip to 2 stores and about 4 hours. Boards are not flimsy, the connections are strong. Very happy.

Having it installed by a local handyman. Got 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom to go but so far it seems to snap together quickly and it looks absolutely beautiful on the floor. Easy to clean with swiffer or our spinbrush broom. You will need to buy felt pads to stick to all your furniture legs so they won't leave scratches on the floor.

Great looking once completed, but be careful moving and installing. The snap edges are very thin and very easily damaged. We had almost a full box of unusable product that was damaged from shipping. But still happy with the finished product look and feel.

This floor was a little difficult to start out but with a little patient everything fall into place. I am so in love with my new floor

Beautiful floor and a great value! Put down over 2400 square feet and only found 1 damaged board in the lot. Great job Home Depot!

Floors look beautiful but very disappointed with its quality. Bought and installed it 4 months ago and already started bending on sides and edges even when I’m only using the recommended product to clean it. Good I purchased extra boxes for replacement :(

Gorgeous flooring. Everyone loves it except for my older dog. She slips on the slick floor. And I need to trim her nails because all I hear is click click click click click click click click click click going across the floor!

The finished look is great but the tongue could be stronger. Great to work with if you aren’t in a huge hurry.

Flooring was economical and installed very nicely. Though it was necessary to order it online , we had excellent service by Sue Jolly in the flooring department at our Home depot where we purchased it.

For years I've wanted to either re-carpet my bedroom or put flooring down. When I saw the Hampton Bay Natural Palm sample at Home Depot, I fell in love. I'm absolutely thrilled with the product. Reasonably priced, Free home delivery, Easy to install, and Gorgeous. With newly painted soft turquoise walls and new bedding and decor items, I have a room worthy of any magazine feature. Everyone raves about the beautiful floors.

I wanted to replace my carpet with flooring. I went to Home Depot and picked this item because I loved the shine..When it was installed it was beautiful raves from everyone..I asked the installer what to clean it with and he said, mix vinegar and water and spray on mop and clean it...When I did that, my floor became dull..OMG I said!!!! So I googled what to clean it with and they recommended Bona, same thing, it dulled my floor and footprints made it worse..Home depot put a claim in with Bona..They sent me some of their products, mind you the product that messed it up. I tried it and it made worse..Even the manufacturer recommendations messed up my floor. Have not had the floor 2 months and have not been able to put furniture in rooms yet..Still dealing with claim with Bona...I hate this floor and want it gone...I will never recommend a high gloss laminate floor....Joanne

If someone spills any kind of liquid on the floor and you don't see it for several days, the wood curls up on the edges and in order to replace it you have to remove all the boards that border it. When I moved my sofa, something was under it that caused it to do this. I've also noticed that scuff marks are very hard to remove - I finally used Goo Gone. There are several chips in the flooring also and I have no idea how they got there.

Just installed a little over a 1000sqft for a client. --excellent surface finish. highly scratch resistant... wouldn't recommend this with hardly any of the other laminates that I have installed in the past, but by the end of the job I was comfortable sliding my tools and materials across the surface from room to room. Very impressed with the surface scratch resistance. FYI, the delivery was late - a little stressed about that, but the product itself was great.

I was reading this product page looking for cleaning suggestions. First I forgot this was a laminate flooring, I've been referring to it as hardwood with a piano finish. My bad. I had it installed by Home Depot's installers eight years ago. I recently did another room in the same product. It is hard to tell the new from the old. Seriously. It is in the kitchen, a powder room and one full bathroom; all areas of possible problems as noted by some homeowners but I've no issues with warping, lifting or cupping. My sis and her husband had a couple dogs and mom uses a walker; no scuffs, no scratches. I love this stuff! Check my pictures

We took a chance on this flooring without seeing it in person. It turned out great. The color is a nice red and the quality is very good. We've done three rooms so far and have moved furniture in and out of the rooms after putting it down and it has been able to withstand all of the movement without a scratch. We're planning to purchase more in the fall to do our downstairs in the same laminate.

The product is very shiny. However ordering it online was not the best option especially if you order over 168 sq ft. The delivery man dropped one box and we had few boxes to wear the wood was actually chipped and not usable. We like flooring just don't recommend ordering online and the store does not carry the product only promotes it.

I just had this installed and it looks fabulous! It has a high gloss without appearing too shiny and the color is perfect, not too light or dark. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

These floors are beautiful!!! They were easy to install and add beauty to our home. I can't wait to complete the remaining rooms in our home.

The product came in boxes of 8 boards in each box. The instructions indicated that these boards do not have to be acclimated prior to using. I placed the boxes in the space I was going to install them into the night before anyway. The first two boxes I opened were fine and I alternated using boards from the two boxes as recommended. When I opened the third box, I noticed a slight flaw in the surface of the first few boards. I opened the fourth and fifth box and there were more boards with the same flaw. It appears as a line of discoloration running almost a third of the board. I set these aside and continued to use the other boards. Since the room I was working in was anything, but square, I was forced to make a lot of cuts. I was able to use these flawed boards for most of the cuts. As I continued, it became apparent to me that the lot where these boxes came from had this flaw. I realize the instructions is to not continue installing and to return the boxes, however, I was committed to doing the installation and was not able to wait for the return shipment and the reshipment. I was able to basically ignore the flaw that became less of an issue as the project continued. The room was only about 150 sq. ft, but I ordered another 10%. I ended up with a box of 7 boards with the most flaws. I am hoping I don't need to replace any of these in the near future. I may end up sending those back, but I am not sure I would receive any credit for them, since the box is open. You can be the judge as you look at the pictures of the finished room. Again, the room is not square. I followed the line from the hall way coming into the room, so entering from the hall, the lines continue in a straight line. An entry from the kitchen parallels the hall so it doesn't look too bad. It's when you are in the room and look, it appears the lines run in a diagonal to the walls. Still, I would use this product again. it was pretty easy to work with, although if you have to cut along the length, you might want to consider using a table saw instead of the jig saw I used. Thank God for moulding. The only other issue I have is the transition piece takes almost 3 weeks to arrive. Go figure.

I remodel a house in Clearwater, Florida and used 2,300sq. Feet of Alexander Oak 8 mm were easy to install it, the floor looks great and the house was sold in two weeks. I am very pleased with Alexander Oak and I purchase 1,100sq. Feet for another remodeling house in New Port Richey, FL.

I absolutely love these floors. I have been researching different laminate flooring for a while and due to the reviews and price chose these floors. They are easy to clean and my installer said they were easy to install.
