Nice fan
Just had it installed. It wouldn't fit our sloped ceiling but I had another fan to install on a flat ceiling and I switched the other brand mounting bracket on this fan with no problem and vice versa. It looks and works great. Fan blades look kind of cheap up close but when up high, look natural and nice.

Replaced my existing white fan with this garbage. It looks nice and the features are well received but the fan dances like beyonce on the high speed. I tried the balancing kit but to no avail. Took it down and reinstalled the old one. Fan is now collecting dust in the garage.

We bought two of these fans. One for the living room and one for the Master bedroom. Only problem we noticed is that the remotes are set on the same setting so sometimes we forget about turning of the light switch on one and both fans will be running cause it senses when the remote goes on.. other than that they are great

      Nice looking fan
The fan is nice looking. Easy to install, but I wish the LED bulbs were a little brighter.

        Large Ceiling Fan
All our ceiling fans throughout the house looked dated, like they belonged in another era, so when I got this new fan, I was excited to see it. This fan has brushed nickel on the casing that's really pretty and looks very fresh and modern. With the size of the blades,54 inches, a fan this size moves a lot of air, which is what we need in our large living room area. It's a quality product that adds to the design elements in our living room.

        AWESOME FAN
The Cameron 54 inch ceiling fan turned out to be a perfect addition to the master bedroom. The modern styling and low profile LED light look elegantly smaller than you'd expect for a fan this size. Installation took me less than one hour and there was no need to balance the blades. All that's left now is to enjoy being able to change speeds and dim the light, without getting out of bed.

Pros: Assembly instructions are simple and clear No balancing needed Dimming Remote Incredibly quiet Integrated led light Cons: Fan blades are a thin veneer and can be easily scratched\chipped. Handle with care. Can't reverse direction with remote - must climb ladder and switch manually First fan I got was clearly damaged during shipment - very unbalanced and housing was warped. Home Depot exchanged with no issues. Second fan was perfect.

          Nice but poor lighting
I had a professional installation for the fan. It may be challenging for non-professionals because of the remote receiver. The fan looks nice but the lighting is awful. The LED light shines directly down in one spot. The ceiling and room corners are dark. I would only recommend this fan if you have another lighting source.

Love love love this fan. We loved it so much that we bought 3 more for the house. It's sleek and modern with a great light kit. We love the remote control. We thought they had malfunctioned because two rooms were noticeably dimmer than the other 2 rooms when we discovered the awesome dimmer feature that occurs when you hold down the light bulb on the remote.

Looks great, but a tight install.
I don't think anyone can fault the look of this fan. The new designs that integrate native LED light arrays allow for a modern, thinner light area. Operation if very quiet with very little vibration. I initially was very put off by the light, but then realized that it starts up low powered and holding the button will ramp up the light. It is sufficient for a typical to larger bed room. Installation is really where this light is hard. Instead of an integrated remote, you get to wire it in. That isn't too hard. What is hard is fitting everything in the electrical box when mounting. This loses a star for me. Other than the install, we have been happy with it. The look is definitely classy.

Great ceiling fan for a hot summer
This 54" LED ceiling fan not only looks great but it was extremely quiet for its size. It took me about 40 min to get it up on the ceiling. The included remote was functional and easy to use. When using it along with my in wall AC, the temperature in my room was able to cool off within 5 minutes. Very impressive. The LED light distribution seems fine and it only takes minimal energy. A timely help for a long hot summer.

                Fantastic looking fan...
This fan looks really nice and modern, the fan blade color is very pretty, but that light! I bought without reading the reviews and after installation, it's true the light is barely an excuse for a light. We had planned on returning it when I started looking online and saw someone on another website mention holding the light button on the remote down...it is preset to a dim setting!!! It is a dimmable light that can be turned up brighter!! OMG! Makes a huge difference! While it's still not the brightest light, it is more than acceptable to now keep! I just wish the instructions would tell people that...which is why it gets 4 stars. I bet a lot of people returned or paid more for other light bulbs for no reason. Just had to do a little research to figure it out.

                Great fan
We purchased this fan to be installed in our living room, and we're happy that we did! The LED lights give off great light, and the fan is perfect for air circulation and a breeze. The only downside, the remote that turns the fan and light on and off doesn't always work. Sometimes we have to take the battery out, or press the buttons a few times for it to work.

                Bring On the summer
The last ceiling fan we installed just did not have the air flow we needed for the master bedroom, this fan brought all we needed and then some. This fan was easy to wire up, matching the previous brackets easily and going right into place. The piece by piece installation was a bit of a hassle, as every part of the fan needed to be put together from the motor base casing to the light installation on the motor to the remote option. The directions were easy to follow but some screws I would recommend a small right angle Phillips to access as there is not a lot of hand space. The LED light is bright and lights the entire room up easily. The remote is a bit bulkier than the last remote but allows it to be easily found if missed placed around the room and the holder for the remote is easily installed with screws or 3M tabs, (purchased separately, as I refuse to drill into my furniture for it.) The 3 speed setting is nice and it is reversible to use during the colder months.

                Love this fan!
I was really nervous about the installation of this fan due to the negative reviews concerning the receiver. We had no issue with installing the receiver. Just be mindful to read all of the instructions and pay attention to the diagrams/pictures. There is a small picture that shows you how to slip the receiver box into the canopy. It only fits one way. It took my husband 45 minutes to an hour to install this beauty in our 13.5 x 15.3 room, but he takes his time with all projects. The remote control seemed cheap at first but it works really well with dimming and going through the three speeds for the fan. For us, the low speed is enough. Also keep in mind the reverse function is actually located on the side of the fan, which is fine for us since we live in Texas. We love the look and function of this fan and would definitely recommend this product. I wish they had this fan in different sizes so I could put in all of our kids bedrooms as well.

                  This fan is junk
I have installed many ceiling fans over the years. this one is without a doubt the worst piece of junk I have ever purchased.. The initial installation was difficult trying to stuff all the wires for the remote control into the electric box in the ceiling. After installation the fan worked fine for a week. It just stopped working, no light, no fan. Disassembled to check the wiring and everything was correct. Reassembled and everything worked. One day later it stopped working again. Disassembled again and found nothing wrong. Again, after reassembly everything worked fine for another day. After the third time disassembling and reassembling this fan and finding nothing wrong I did some research on the internet. It seems this remote control receiver likes to shut itself off and needs to be reset. Great fan. Use it for a day, then have to shut off the power for at least a half an hour to reset the receiver. What junk! Needless to say this fan is coming down and being replaced.

                  Wouldn't Recommend at all......
My wife and I recently purchased this fan to put in our master bedroom in a newly constructed home. This is the only Home Depot brand fan that we bought and I am so glad! Out of 9 fans installed this was by far the worst. All of the Lowes brand fans have their remote receivers built into the fan! Not Home Depot! They expect you to find a location for the monstrosity of a remote receiver after you have made the half dozen or so more connections that installing the receiver requires! Not me! Back in the box it goes and back to Homer Depot! I think we will make a pit stop at Lowes on the way out of town and grab another of their brand fans!

                  Great fan!
We had the fan professionally installed. It went in beautifully. We needed a bright light in our bedroom and this fan is perfect. We love the dimming and the style is simple and perfect for our room. The fan is quiet die the most part.. A little hum when in high but my husband like the white noise. We are overall very pleased .

Stylish fan, but with potential issues
We saw this fan in an HD store and made a spontaneous decision to purchase it since we had been talking about replacing our bedroom fan for a long time. I wanted to note that the 17w light is actually a proprietary array of surface mounted LED lights. You *might* be able to replace them if something were to go wrong, but only from Home Decorators. The other issue with the surface mounted array is that they tend to disperse most of their light straight down. They definitely light up a 20x20 room, but the corners and edges of the room will be a bit darker. I would have preferred 2 CFL/LED bulbs that we could have installed ourselves and they also disperse outwards as well. I've installed a few other ceiling fans before that had remotes before, and I have to say this one had a few quirks that I found annoying. First of all, when you do manage to get the fan mounted, I would highly recommend turning the fan on w/o the fan blades for a brief moment. I noticed the entire unit that rotated was a bit out of round. I could see it moving 1/8-1/4" laterally around the axis which told me the casing was probably not perfectly round. A lot of ceiling fans have a decorative cover that is attached to the ceiling mount (for the rod/ball) with 2 screws that go in from the side. This unit requires 2 screws going vertically, and there is very little room to fit a normal screw driver. I had to use a stubby/small screw driver to attach it. Moreover, there is yet another little ring that then attaches to the head of those screws that are now vertically positioned. This is just a poor design. You will end up scuffing the finish a little bit as you rotate the small trim piece to secure it. You will also likely be backing out the screws a little to get it to attach correctly. Once installed, I was fairly pleased with the air output. It is rated at 6100 CFM. I'd probably say that is a lie, but who can say for sure. My cruddy homebuilder fans seem to generate just as much air. There is also a slight hum/buzz from the motor. It isn't loud, but I tried my old fan in one other room (identical to the one I removed) and it was more quite. Still, the motor isn't any louder than the other new fans I've installed. Perhaps the quality is just decreasing across the board for these fans. The dimming feature is nice, but I'm not a huge fan of the color when it gets dim. It is a bit too white for my taste. That is another reason I would have liked to use my own bulbs. The light would be fine for an office or kitchen, but i like the 2700-3000K for my bedroom to give it a more warm feel. I also had an issue with the fan turning on/off randomly. Despite no other fan in my house using the same DIP switch code, I changed it and it resolved the issue. Lastly, the fan really needs to be balanced. The bottom trim piece just rests on the motor unit and doesn't attach permanently. I think this may start to make a little bit of noise if the fan isn't 100% perfectly level. I also am getting a few other noises that I made go away for a while, but came back in the middle of the night. I'm giving this fan 1 or 2 more days of use and will likely return assuming I have to keep fiddling with it to quite it on high speed. I guess I had higher expectations for a fan that costs nearly 2 bills after tax.
