The instructions were very easy to follow and it looks great.

I bought 3 of these that were supposed to be white . I paid $500 to have them installed and they are not white , but off white . I do not like the look of off white. Very disappointed, I was not present when they were installed or would have stopped installation and returned. The run I purchased must have been an error in paint, as I have seen pictures of other fans that are clearly white. Very unhappy .

I bought this fan to replace the one in my master bedroom, because the blades on the old fan were very ornate and collected a lot of dust. PROS: -Installation was very easy -It is quiet -It can move a lot of air -It looks sleek, and the light kit matches this look -The light is very bright CONS: -The fan’s unique housing prevents being mounted to a pole, if you have high ceilings -For how sleek the fan is, the remote is kind of goofy looking. I would likely buy this again.

We’ve had this over a year. The fan does turn and the light is bright. As other reviewers said, there’s about 2 seconds after flipping the wall switch and the fan/light turning on. 2 seconds isn’t much time, but it kinda is in that context. About once a day, the fan also randomly turns on to full speed. These are ridiculous issues to have at this price.

Bought 3 fans, 2 were ok but the third would turn itself on at random times without input from the remote. I have seen several other reviews about the same problem. I believe the source of the the problem is the faulty motor was missing the dip switch (see pictures- blue switch with 4 toggles). I returned that fan and the replacement was without the dip switch as well. Returned that one and opened the next box in the store til I found a motor with switch. Very aggravating Home Depot !!

We had an electrician install this fan in two rooms. It's beautiful and gives the rooms an updated feel. At first I didn't realize the light was dimmable and thought I was stuck with a very bright light. It dimms to a nice calming lightness.

Just got done installing it and it came out great. It was my first time installing a ceiling fan, it wasn't too difficult. The fan is super quiet, moves a good amount of air, and the lamp is SUPER bright. Overall, I'm happy with this fan.

This a ceiling fan that meets all expections 1-easy to assemble 2-easy to plug into the electricity 3-if you expect to play with wires and don’t have clue how to install it This unit will all guessing out of it. If you don’t have any experience have an electrician install it for you, is about 300 bucks more! So use your brain and give it a try follow the instructions.

This looks perfect and is quiet and bright but the fan itself decides when it’s on! Deep in my peaceful sleep I’m ripped awake by the bright light and wizzing fan blades. Doesn’t matter what I do (battery out of remote, fan on different speeds) it turns on all by itself. Le sigh. I really wanted this thing to work but I’ll be returning.

This fan looks good and quietly moves a lot of air. It’s gives plenty of light, especially right under it. The main issue is that there is a 2-second lag for the light to come on when using the wall switch, which is a long time in that context. There is no lag when using the remote, but I’m not interested in using the remote like a wall switch (and damaging the wall). The remote feels cheap and doesn’t seem durable, but it’s necessary for the fan’s operation. I would not purchase again.

Easy to install, but hardware does not allow for installation flush to ceiling, so there is a gap between the housing and the ceiling, even though the box is installed properly in the ceiling. Described as matte black, but blades are wood color with no option to reverse them. Having only a remote as an option to turn the fan and light on is ridiculous. Also, as others have pointed out, the light and fan turn on randomly. Spend the extra money and get a product from a real ceiling fan company.

This fan looks really nice. However, I constantly have to deal with the light & fan cutting itself on (Fan on High setting).. I’ve noticed it doesn’t happen if I keep the fan on low setting but it’s winter who wants the fan on 24/7..

I've had this in my beach house for 5 months and the blades are falling apart. the edges have swelled and now the fan is warbling. Love the looks of this fan just can't believe how quickly it's deteriorating for an inside application.

the fan seems pretty solid and comparable in look and feel to $500 ceiling fans sold at the designer home stores. Obviously, it's not the same quality, but it more than fine for my new house. The instructions were clear, and I think it can be easily installed by one person with a few basic tools + a ladder. The materials seem well engineered - I expect it to last for many years. BONUS: lifetime warranty on the fan motor! GREAT value! I will probably buy 3 more for the bedrooms.

Bought three of them, they are quiet an push a lot of air. My BB only negative feedback is the LED light has a bit of strobe effect when on.

Bought this fan for our master bedroom. Loved it so much, bought a second for the guest bedroom. Modern, quality look, flush to ceiling. White paint color is warm white. Creates an excellent breeze at three settings - low and medium is super quiet, high is louder but not unreasonable. No problem sleeping while fan at high. Integrated LED light is warm white but quite bright. Good lighting if you are cleaning or doing detail work, but you will want an alternate light source in the room if you're just chilling. Light can be on or off when fan runs. Comes with palm-sized remote. But don't lose it. No other way to control the fan; not switched on wall; no app. This is the only negative.

True 9.75” profile! Whole unit sits above previous fan’s blades. Silent. Easy install. (1) bracket must sit flush/level with ceiling. My ceiling box protruded 1/8” on one side causing fan to sit at angle. Made large cardboard washer to fix. (2) had motor sounds other reviewers noted when tested mid install. A) tighten down bracket screws tight, flush against ceiling B) tighten down motor mount screws after quarter turn. (3) See reviewer Jimm on 4/19/21 to hook light to separate switch than fan.

Bought this to replace an older fan with broken speed control chain. Easy to install and looks absolutely great. Dimmable light would be nice, but overall more than adequate for our small condo on the beach.

Replaced 2 existing ceiling fans that were on their last breaths with these 2 beautiful fans. They are quiet, no humming like others said, but we had these installed by an electrician. The light is a bright white, not dull. So far we love them. Almost bought fans that cost double their price.

First off I'd like to say this fan is excellent for the cost! I've used a lot of fans (some very costly) over the years as I've installed them in my own home as well as client's home. I moved into a new office and wanted a very clean looking, contemporary (but understated) unobsure fan and the design was exactly what I wanted. The light is bright but not obnoxious for my space which is in my office over my desk. It is an extremely quiet fan. The only downside is I couldn't figure out how to reverse the airflow. It came with a default of pulling the air up instead of down. The spec sheet said it is reversable. I finally read where you need to removed the cover for the battery and the small button is in there. (Have the fan on and then hit the button, it will slow down and change direction). Hope this helps others that may have the same question.

HOME Decorators Britton 52” ceiling fan model number SW19110BN. Quiet technology, brushed nickel finish, integrated 21-watt LED light and remote control for 3 different fan speeds and light control. The installation is a little bit of a challenge for a beginner but can be done with an assistant. The quality of the finish and the style of the lamp is beautiful and would compliment any decor.

I bought 2 of these for my bedrooms and had someone install them for me. They are really nice looking and very quiet. The remote is a little cheap, but it does work. The center light is very nice and brightens the whole room. It doesn't go has low as I would like but I can deal.

It is very quiet even on high fan setting. It comes neatly packaged to avoid damage. It was fairly easy to install. The biggest issues were: 1. Make sure you know the remote control code settings (4 switches on the fan remote control unit on the fan motor itself) that you want before installing the fan. I forgot to do this and the code interfered with another fan in my home. I had to disassemble everything to change the code. 2. The mounting screws to hold the fan motor mounting plate to the mounting plate (that attaches to your electric box in the ceiling) were difficult to tighten because of the angle that you had to have the screw driver. I ended up using a short / stubby screwdriver. 3. The fan housing / cover will be hard to install if your electric box in your ceiling isn’t flush with the level of your drywall. My box is slightly recessed and it took a few minutes to figure out how hard to push on it to get it to tighten into place. The remote control works well, but the face of it is totally smooth so it’s hard to tell what button that you are selecting in the dark. I would prefer individual buttons that you could feel and know which one you were selecting. The LED light seems plenty bright for a good size bedroom. You might need additional light sources for larger rooms. Overall, I am happy with the fan. It seems to be good quality for the price.

High quality home decorators fan. I’ve never had a fan install like this fan, and it was so easy. The fan was packed very well with very easy to read instructions. I really like the color of the fan and blades. The remote worked perfect and was easy to setup and use. The fan moves an insane amount of air and is silent. The light is super bright but can also be dimmed. I’ve had the fan for about a week and would highly recommended this fan — another 5 star home decorators product.

The fan have my bedroom a new vibe. The lighting is perfect. I don't like dull lighting so this new LED light was perfect for lighting the complete space.

Overall, great fan, fits close to the ceiling and runs almost silently. Installation is pretty easy as well (I love the hooks they put on the mounting brackets to hold the fan body when you attached the wiring- this is a huge improvement over fans from 5-10 years ago). You should note, that there are no pull chains, so the fan’s operation is entirely dependent on the remote. However, I installed mine in a bedroom and wanted the light on the fan to be controlled from a light switch, and the fan to be operated by the remote. This was super simple to do. To accomplish this, the blue wire coming from the remote receiver wiring harness has to be removed. There is a second blue wire that is connected via a crimped connection to a thinner black wire (see photo) that controls the light- that black wire needs to be connected to your wall switch. All the remaining wiring is done per the instructions.

The Home Decorators Britton 52 in. ceiling fan is not your everyday run of the mill ceiling fan. It is unique in both design and operation. It was also very easy to install and it comes with clear and easy to follow instructions. In my case I was just replacing an existing fan. All of the functions of the fan can be operated with the remote, fan speed ( 3 speeds), and fan direction. The light button turns the light on and off and also controls the brightness. If you use the existing wall switch to turn it on, the fan and light will turn on to the last setting with the remote. The remote is a nice feature not having to deal with pull chains to operate the fan and light. My previous fan operated with two wall switches and pull chains to operate the fan and light. I did have to disconnect one of the feeds to the fan and although not in the directions I was able to mount the bracket for the remote control using the screw from the switch plate, keeping the remote in a convenient location next to the wall switch. I do have to say the fan is extremely quiet.

Out of the box this ceiling fan has everything you'll need for an easy install. Instructions were straightforward, and if you are remotely handy you'll have no trouble getting this done in under an hour. Once installed this fan has three speeds, all controlled through the included remote. It also has a nice bright LED light in the middle. It is bright but not overly bright, and the temperature color is an easy on the eyes soft white. Looks-wise, it's modern but not weirdly modern. It has a nice clean look that doesn't take over a room. It's more function over form, and blends into the room.
