These shutters looked great even when we just propped them up in our windows before we went out of town for a few days. When we got back, they were easy to install and were just what we were looking for--without the added price of actual wood shutters.

Purchased for small bathroom window and it looks great. For privacy we only needed the lower half of the window covered ~ this shutter takes care of that and still allows full light into the room from the top of the window. The crisp white color is exactly what I was hoping for. I don't know about ease of installation as our bathroom contractor installed it during renovations. It arrived quickly and the installed product looks great.

Nice quality and they appear they'll be easy to clean. The included shims were helpful. Like the added privacy it gives our bathroom while allowing airflow.

This shutter is high quality, very durable, it seems. It is a little pricey in my mind. I installed it on the face of the window casing and due to the geometry of the casing, I had to use the supplied spacer strips to provide clearance for the louvers to operate without hitting the sash. No big deal. I also shortened the top and the bottom. I had to cut each panel separately, using my sliding circular saw and an 80 tooth blade. I got no tear out with the panel in the good-side-up position. A table saw would have made the job less tedious. I glued one of the supplied strips to to the inside end of each shutter, in order to close the gap a bit when the shutters are fully closed. I don't know why they did not pre-drill the holes for the closure hook. Again, just one more measurement to make sure you get it perfectly level.

Home Depot has not developed an expertise in helping customers choose the right Home Basics products for. But the shutters met my expectations. They are relatively cheap and easy to install. They are well enough made, but if you drop one on the floor, it often disintegrates

Some drilled holes did not match up but other than that good shutters

Easy to put on, arrival was right on time

Staff at the store had no knowledge of this product. There was little measurement purchasing guidance on line. I had pictures of our frame and dimensions and the store told me installation would be fine. In fact, due to the shape of our window frame and the cut of our windows, it arrived and did not fit.

faux wood white interior shutters are nice to work with. if not to size I cut them to fit the opening . no painting required so the job is complete. two more windows & all the windows in this house will have interior shutter on them. thank you..
