We heat with a coal boiler and had a runaway condition. Some of the fire brick retainers cracked and as the cracks opened up they split into the water jacket. After we shut it down and assessed it I welded the cracks up and found I had a small leak behind the fire brick. Since its the heating season and we needed to get it burning again, I decided to try Hercules. I filled the boiler 3/4 with water got the water up to 165 degrees and then added 2 quarts, capped the boiler and filled the boiler with water to working pressure. Got the fire good and hot and turned the circulator on. Within 15 minutes the leak stopped dripping. I would not count on this product to permanently fix this issue so I will tear it open in the Spring and fix it correctly, but its doing its job and Im grateful that it exists.

It reduced my steam boiler running out of water by 50% and I only left in in for 3 days. The reason I drained it was because it clogged up the viewing glass. It is thick and muddy brown stuff. Probably if I kept it in longer it would work better. Before it needed to be filled every 2 days, now every 4 days.

I've got an older steam boiler that developed several leaks over the last few years. I was able to patch the steam leak on the top of the boiler, but water was still leaking from somewhere near the bottom of the unit. I read positive reviews on this product, but I've never had any good luck with "leak stop" products before. Well, believe it or not, this stuff works great! There was a little bit of a smell, but it dissipated after a day or so and it wasn't that bad. The leak it stopped was fairly good sized, too (this stuff will not plug a huge hole, obviously). Worth its wait in gold!

Boiler was leaking badly but 2 bottles of this sealed it right up. It's been over 2 weeks and still no leaks.

Works well and prices are good.

Sealed a leak in a 60 year old radiant heat system in the floor. I add a litlle more each year. Saved me a lot of worry.

I purchased 4 quarts of this for my Central Boiler OWB, so far it has slowed the leak to a very small amount and hopefully will continue, very satisfied.

Worked great sealed the leak before the boiler was even heated back up. The boiler was dripping significantly and this stuff saved me from buying a new one great stuff.

I had a small drip from my replacement expansion tank despite using the best pipe sealant available. I put two bottles of this into my fairly large system and the drip stopped. Now system not dripping and holds pressure indefinitely.

It seems to work as advertised.

Easy to use and worked very fast and great. Used it on outdoor wood boiler. Will up date after a year to see if it is still working or if leak came back..

I have not yet been able to tell because the weather warmed up so will update next winter. But looks good so far.

This Product works. Used it twice worked first time but I ran out of water again the low water cutoff failed for the second time well after putting in the solution and water it just leaked all over the floor. Not good. So today I went and purchased 2 more bottles one extra just in case. Reading the instructions (they help) I seen needs to be hot. So I emptied a full bottle into the cold from being off all night into the drain using a hose for the washer feed. This worked better than removing the pressure release. Then I boiled multiple tea pots of water and poured into the same hose. No leaks so far after maybe 15 or 20 pots of boiling water I seen a little dark water in the site gauge. So then I filled more until 1/2 full. Started the boiler and no leaks floor is still wet but drying out. We have heat now in New Jersey . Have to follow my thoughts as of the day before to check the furnace. All is well for now. Remember hot water is to set it from the inside.

I poured it into my boiler & it sealed all the cracks. Boiler working just fine.

I poured less than 1/3rd of the bottle into my old Weil McLain steam boiler, and the leak stopped! I added the rest of the bottle, per the instructions, and the leak never came back!

My 25 yr old boiler developed a leak into the firebox, bad enough so that the water leaked out of the secondary air shutter. Happened in the middle of heating season for the Northeast, couldn't be a worst time of year. Being faced with an inflated replacement bill due to the season I needed a miracle to make it to spring. I was skeptical but saw the positive reviews and felt this was worth a try to buy 2 more months. It is an understatement to say that I am amazed at how fast this worked. I siphoned out most of the water, drained the tank and added this as per instructions. Ran the boiler at 170 degrees and circulator on. After checking the fire box 2 hours later, all signs of water are gone! The external moisture dried up within hours and I've been checking it constantly. I truly hope that this will last until spring... I am pleasantly surprised at the results!

Have an outside wood boiler that was leaking. Hercules boiler treatment stopped the leak. Good product.
